Yeah, they went to the semi-cap to keep top sheet chipping down. That little bevel makes the tooling way more expensive, but the skis are a lot more durable in theory.

New Renegades at evogear outlet for $337 after 20 off code, scored some 186, stoked
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

weird... I tried and got the error "Your cart does not qualify for this discount."

I think maybe you got lucky. They don't have the "extra 20" banner in the graphic for the renegades. must have removed it.

hey - just putting out a feeler. For what $$$ do you guys think I could/should sell a good-condition pair of 196 w/guardian16?

Honestly, I just have different bindings to mount with hole pattern conflicts and just want an excuse to have a fresh pair of the same sticks.
I figure with sales and + my guardians I might break even, and it would get another happy skier on Rens.

Huh...? I tried yesterday on the 196 and it told me that this product did not qualify for the promo... Just tried again and the same message popped up... Regardless, good for you as $337 is a no brainer...

Depends on the year (topsheet), mount position of the Guardians and your BSL.

Holy fuck. These skis are 95% of my praxis pows in powder. They are fast as fuck, playful, yet still super chargey. I'm completely in love with the renegade. Fastest pow ski I've ever had, they plane perfectly and are soo unhooky. It's the closest thing I've come to a perfect ski.

The promo code was a one and done thing (one item one time)... Sorry...! And whyturn gave the heads up on the promo code as it was offered in Freeskier... From an earlier post...:

Wanted: Evo 25% off code (from email/freeskier)

    Hey guys,
So recently there was a 25% coupon from evo for 25% off any outlet item. It was emailed to evo subscribers or can be found in the freeskier photo issue this year.

Unfortunately, I do not have either of those, so I was wondering if anyone that got one that will not be using it would be kind enough to let me have theirs . I need to make a purchase and it would help out tremendously.

Thanks alot, it will really be appreciated!

Looks like there's one more pair of 186 at evo outlet. I have an unused (i think) freeskier code if someone is going to nab these. PM me.

It's odd because 4FRNT recommends a more forward mount if you're taller/heavier. I'm 6'0" 180# and ended up at near 87. Seems fine. They ski much differently than you think. You don't really drive them from the tips like nearly any other ski. I'd say smack dab in the middle at 87 will do you quite well.

this might have already been answered itt, but what does the 87cm mount on the 186 equate to on the 196's?

According to my Renegade birth certificate; 92 cm from the tail, is what you want.
