Got the ok to run gates any time I want with a ski team in the MWV. Haven't run gates in the last few years more than a run here and there. Looks like I found what I'll be doing when the weather is a little bitch. Might have to get a new pair of GS skis now...

Why not?... gates can be a blast. Was dreaming about them last night. And who knows, maybe you'll get a ticket to Sochi?

36.2` bob light rain falling 28` summit. Lost 98% of the snow in my yaed overnight and the natural snow trails took a huge hit. With no grooming overnight here the conditions are going to be teh suck as things firm up.
Good weekend to sit on Santas lap and ask for a bountiful winters snowfall.

Neufox, enjoy the gate bashing, good fun can result.

At least ya got that part figured out now

Oh, and you might find this link helpful, since Rog is clearly such a thorn in your side.

Nasty morning in the banana belt, but glad to hear that it changed back to snow at Stowe. Initial reports that I'm seeing are that the skiing (that is why we're all here, right??) is superb.

Back to snow and cold at the end of this. Bring in that low ... that's it closer, baby:

"A cold front will continue to sweep through the region today bringing continued summit fog as a band of precipitation moves through. Temperatures this morning are close to freezing allowing for summits to start with freezing rain, but as temperatures fall through the day, a transition back to snow by days end is expected. As the front slides offshore overnight, precipitation may taper briefly during the evening, but another low moving northeast along the front will bring another round of snow to the region for most of the night. Snow will taper on Saturday morning as the low exits and high pressure begins to build from the west. The building high will rotate in even colder air during the day and will boost winds into Saturday evening, with gusts expected to reach around 100 mph by sunset. New snowfall today will be a trace to 2 inches falling on top of ice from freezing trail runoff. Overnight into Saturday morning, an additional 1 to 3 inches is expected. However, totals may be slightly higher if the track of the low moves closer inland than currently projected."

    http://www.mountwashington.org/weath...t_forecast.php

Will make for some interesting conditions if we get more than expected. Winter is coming.

Sorry I can't join you all tomorrow and Sunday at Kmart. I have been using up all my passes this month to chase early season ice and its the wife's turn to go play. Have a blast. Ski fast and take just enough chances to make the WROD tolerable. Get sum!

Pay attention Mr. Lynch, mini postponed till the 14th, work on the hall pass this week.
The postponement is good for me as my new FFG14's will be here Monday and I can mount a more WROD friendly ski. I was working too hard following Surfaces' tight snowboard slalom style turn for turn on my Fritschi mounted EHP 190's.

As Akokskis replied bob = base-o-bush where I reside, at 8:19 a few flakes fell though the temp is 36.6` currently.

Swing on by, I'll give you a lesson and get rid of that skid turn and teach you how to get some angles on those skis . You can even wear spandex if you want to.

If you can ski on ice, you can ski on anything...

Temperature graph on MTW falling FAST. Down to 14.

Aaah ... missed that. Afraid I won't be there either. Headed to the Daks to scare myself silly on some steep ice classics. Drink a beer for me.

Gunstock supposedly has a fun one. The focus is on the beer ... you would like that.
