Hope at least Jay and MTW stay all snow - I'll be happy. Crank, if you are looking to ski Fri - Sun look me up. Will probably be up at Jay Thurs night through the weekend.

Holy crap, if this stays all frozen... http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/qpf/d13_fill.gif

OK, yeah I'll keep Friday in mind as well... we'll see how this plays out I guess.

Or maybe EARLY Turkey Day turns somewhere????

I'm hoping the cold that follows the piss keeps a proper base down in the southern / central whites. I cannot swing an excursion past K-mart...

Peruvian, I'm down to earn sometime Fri-Sun.

I caught the ski bug at campgaw too. First time I ever went skiing was there. I think it was the winter of 83-84.

I won't be back home until Saturday PM. If there is earning to be done, I'm up for it. However I'm concerned that the man-made will be the only skiing available this weekend in my neighborhood.

Anyone else gonna ski tomorrow or Wednesday? Bueller?

EDIT: Anyone know where I can get a KTown 2fer printed out?
I'm considering same. But weather is looking wetter than white. Even as far as Jay...

Hunted for ice yesterday and ended up just hiking Cannon. They blowing snow on that mountain faster than Charlie Sheen can snort it! Had about 4 inches on the leward side and 2 underneath the trees. Not enough natural to effectively cover the weeds, though.
I demoed the TECH TALK JONG! pro model this spring and their performance was unparalleled which is good because I ski in a wedge most of the time - bendtheski, 2011

I'll have to check what's open..

Ski La Reserve and Val Saint Come are my favourites. Be warned that they are SMALL but make up for it with some fun terrain

pretty sure i posted this last year (=

la reserve isn't open yet.. would take quite a dump to get that run in play but it could happen. i think st-come is open weekends

I seriously don't feel like it's winter until I chug an outlandishly heavy beer and a bite of some non-meat yet strangely meat-like substance on the lift with bucket. Where is he?!??

I hear ya DW. I had the same issue until my little adventure in the cold r*in last Sunday, followed by hanging out at our local bump of a hill (Granite Gorge) this past Saturday. Finally ready for the season... just need snow in my neck of the woods to complete it! Oh, and heavy beers in the fridge as of last night. yum. BRING IT!

Skiing was surprisingly nice at K-tron today, though all groomers of course. You don't need to print the voucher if you have it on your phone, you can just show the voucher on your screen.

Ok cool, but I also can't remember where you go to get the voucher in the first place. I know, JONG status etc.

Been on my bike too much lately I guess.

Definitely did not expect anyone to recognize the Mighty Gaw on here. I also learned to ski there, but it wasn't much of a coincidence since it's 5 minutes from the house.

I've been working rentals there for the last couple years while home on break, it's a funky place for sure, tons of fun. I can tell you not much has changed…ever. They still have the two main lifts going up the "big hill" (the one on the right has a mid station). They put a magic carpet out in front of the main building and an even smaller one tucked into the corner of the main slope, and they do tubing now as well.

This storm trending so far West has me in a really shitty mood. Go east you son of a bitch. EAST! Or trend colder or have some cold air daming or something, fuck.
