The barrage of questions about my schuss life in Greg's latest post over at FIS left me feeling pretty insecure. Do I make enough schuss? Do I make schuss as well as others? Do I spend too much time thinking about the schuss I can't make and not enough time making the schuss I can? I decided the only way to overcome my angst was to make schuss immediately.

I spent the past 2 days in the woods, something I haven't done since 2006 according the the carefully folded yet faded Maine Hunting License tucked in my wallet.
