Looking for a place to rent in Vail during the first part of March or April. The closer to Vail Village, the better. Anyone with a line on a place? Hotel or VRBO recommendation?

d00d?!... No one here goes to Vail (or at least admits it). That said, I hear the Ritz is pretty swank.

Screw the net, Surf the backcountry!
Yeah, it's a long shot but thought I'd ask. Trip isn't skiing related if that helps my street cred.
Not sure how I forgot Crampedon's digs.
Depends on what you want to spend and how swank you want it
ROLL TIDE ROLL
Not really looking for swank but I'll take it. Really just after a solid place to stay for a week. You know places are high when Four Seasons is one of the most reasonable.
Could always do the Roost.
Did you check Evergreen Lodge?
Roost is the cheapest in town. Holiday Inn in W Vail is probably next.

Evergreen is ok, not swank but good location and the altitude bar is pretty good

If you're there in March or April why not go skiing?
I know someone with a couple of condos in the village above buzz'z ski shop I can shoot you their number if you want.
You know, you can swear on this site. Fuck, shit bitch. See?
A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don’t have one, you’ll probably never need one again
Evergreen sounds decent, and the reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp are mostly positive.
Tipp - The visit is for surgery. Otherwise I'd definitely be skiing.
Tele - That'd be great.
Close. Penis reduction. Followed by hip scope. Guy is supposed to be one of the best so it takes a while to get in.
PM sent with their contact info.

You can get a hugely discounted full condo at the Vail International when you are having surgery. It is a medical discount they have worked out with the hospital. It ends up being like $150/night, regardless of high/low season. The place is really nice, just 100 yards from the hospital. Two bedroom/two bath with full kitchen. Highly, highly reccomend.
I had my knees insured by Steadman (at the time called Steadman/Hawkins) when I lived in Vail in the early 90s. They had a cool service they provided for locals. I think it cost ~$120/knee for the season. 6 of my friends went under the knife (mainly the Hawk supervising visiting fellows) over 3 years. Nice to get the best for <$250.
Good luck, bro - at least you're getting the best care available.
Thanks, tele. Will reach out later today.
montana - Checked with a handful of doctors around the country who specialize in the procedure and Philippon certainly seems among the best. I saw him present at MGH a while back and his name is all over the literature so I feel pretty good going with him.
ate'em - Good to know. Thanks.
Tipp - Thanks for the well wishes.

Yeah, if you can get that International deal that would be solid. Evergreen is also almost as close to the hospital. Just a couple more hops.
Call these guys and see what they can do if the International or Evergreen can't help: http://www.parkmeadowslodge.com/
Stay in Minturn. Best hotel in the area is called the Turntable.
