No your not a drama queen. The dad is an idiot. I wouldnt bring my daughter into a mens locker room with everyone changing whether she was 2 or 10 years old. Our gym has pretty strict rules though. Drive home and take a fucking shower if the moms not there ffs.

I noticed there's a big sign up in my pool's locker room with the rules and it states that parents may take their child of the opposite sex into the locker room with them as long as the child is under six. Not to say that's the rule everywhere, but it seems pretty common from my experience. If it bothers you you should ask the gym to clarify their policy.
