Rockcreek - Right now she works on Telemetry in a big hospital. It's a step-down unit so pretty busy I think. Biggest issue I think is that she only has 8 months experience total. I'll tell her to apply for Surgical...We will be in the area end of the month so I think she has plans to stop in and meet someone in person....
I work in HR, and am good friends with the HR Director at a hospital in Missoula. I would be glad to pass on info. But I do not know any of the hospital HR people in Bozeman.

    thanks!
It won't be happening before the snow falls, BUT word on the streets is that Bozeman Deaconess and Billings Clinic (and maybe others?) are duking it out to be the ones to build a legit clinic/hospital in Big Sky. Depending on who wins the bid, that would be great if your wife could work there, then get transferred to the Big Sky location as soon as that opens up! Win-win-win-win-win!

I think Bunion is referring to Crossharbor buying Spanish Peaks (pretty much done deal), then Moonlight (close to a done deal), and ultimately Big Sky Resort (in talks).
The new corporate store in Mountain Mall is lame, nothing in it.

Interesting. I wonder if that means that Moonlight and Big Sky will be one resort, as it should've been originally? That, or it will be a mountain real estate developer's wet dream with all the condos n such that will get stuffed in everywhere.

Maybe they'll build you all a Costco so I can end my "go back to Big Sky chant" at the one in the Bozone.

So forgive my ignorance in corporate affairs, but what does it mean if Spanish Peaks is bought through a partnership between CrossHarbour and Boyne? Any suggestions on what will happen to the area of Spanish Peaks now that it's owned by both these corps?

    Hungry Moose opened this weekend.

Same format as the one down in the meadow. Deli sandwiches will be clutch on a pow day.

They took over both the grocery space and that pizza space, so they have quite a bit of room.

Does anyone re-grip golf clubs in Big Sky or do I have to go to Bozeman?

Hey just wanted to thank folks here for the kind advice. The lady rolled into Deaconess with a resume - and got an interview, then a job offer on the spot. Planning to move to Bozeman in October. Now onto the seemingly crazy housing rental market...

This is a super easy job. Cut off old grips. Peel off old tape or leave if I'd you want slightly thicker grips. Put new tape on. Fill new grip with lighter fluid. Pour half the lighter fluid onto tape. Slide new grip on. Just YouTube it. Chances are the proshop at any course will do this but it will cost a lot more.

Awesome to have a Hungry Moose in the mall. Not awesome spending $8 on a non-deli sandwich until they get the deli up and running. Everything else is spendy as shit too. I digress...

On another note I'd like to get a handful of real life big sky bike people to rally to Teton Pass for a couple days sometime this month. Any interest on here?

Rock on! Congratulations to the both of you! Aside from the challenge of finding a good AND reasonably priced place to rent, you guys are going to freaking love it.

Not sure why Boyne joined in but the purchase of Spanish Peaks was a good fit for Crossharbor to give YC members another golf course to play (and obvious real estate). There is also a rumor that they will offer a limited number of public golf memberships (do not have to own property) to Spanish Peaks so it gets more play. All second hand info, so not sure how it will all play out.
Just my opinion, but based on the lack of improvements to Big Sky by Boyne over the past several years, by joining Crossharbor, who is loaded with cash, maybe when and if Crossharbor buys Big Sky it will be a partnership with Boyne and give Boyne a very needed huge cash infusion. Wishful thinking but who knows.

Waiting to hear the Moonlight Basin outcome if anyone has an update.

I am wondering where CNL is on this ?

Since they own most of Lone Peak, I would think they would be the money behind buying Moonlight, then leasing it to Boyne to operate, the way they do with Big Sky.

Anybody know much info on CNL ?

Also: I can't find that "Moonlight Basin Change in Ownership" thread. Did it get deleted ?

All great questions. I am far from being in the know on all this...all my info is second hand. Where's your buddy Bunion on all this...he should know more than most. Maybe being quiet for a reason. I think by late fall it should all be out there as to who is buying what.
