The exact shots I had in mind didn't work out for various reasons, but here's what I got...

Fuzz, I love the crossover effect of that first shot.

Well damn, I had a shot in mind that combined mountain biking and a flowing creek but I just couldn't get it set up in time for the comp. I'm going to get out and do it soon anyways.

Well damn... the rain skunked me today and it's technically 6/4 where I am...

well, it's still 6/3 on the west coast of 'merica and this is rad...

not a lot of entries, but some high-quality shots. I'd imagine the final 5 are gonna be pretty sweet.

Much thanks. Unfortunately the rain was pretty bad all day. And with the tour I was on was only given 20 minutes per waterfall. Not much chance to get set up, keep shit clean in a downpour and come out with great shots. The experience was so awesome though, if the photos suck, I don't care. This place is mesmerizing.

man, I love the tourists in the foreground... The umbrellas are wonderful. The sense of scale is great. The personal nature is wonderful. The color boost is fantastic. Even the clean cliff on the right adds depth. I have no idea where this ends up in this sort of contest, but I dig this as a waterfall shot.

    bright green umbrellas rule!
