he was subject to penalty and received one. i don't see how they can dq him on something they cleared him on before he signed his card.

in any case, he didn't INTENTIONALLY use the wrong rule as far as i can see.

it's too bad they have to be so fucking sappy when they do these features. there's plenty of good stuff without all the melodramatic music and staged camera.

I hope everyone got to see Kevin Na on 12 just now. Hilarious and awesome. He made a 10 and tipped his cap at the end. Plunked 4 (?) in the water, crowd cheered each time he pulled out a ball to re-tee.

snedeker and cabrera sounded like they were in the right mental space after the round yesterday. we'll see who can keep it when the chips are down.

    that's all you got?

anyway, I agree with part of what you say - except that I don't think they talked to him at all about #15 before he signed his card. In the presser the guy said that the committee reviewed the tape after getting a call and decided there was no infraction, so they didn't even approach Tiger. Then CBS talked to them about the interview where TW said what he said, THEN they met with TW on Sat. morning. That's the timeline I'm going by, maybe it is wrong?

There's a bunch of sound minds up there right now. This could be an all-timer. Sneds, Angel, Kuchar, Woods, Stricker... I suspect Adam Scott won't be on the leader board at 5 o'clock today.

Langer with the long putter! I hope he wins so the haters can have cows. If he gets in with a good score early the weather could help him.

You have figure Bernard L in the mix now?
    Where did that come from?

the Rain might change things up quite a bit? something 5 Under and in the club house early could win it?

You can be good and you can be Lucky, But good and Lucky wins every time.

Well playing golf in jeans isn't cheating, but it is shameful. Speaking of shameful, " Hi I'm Tiger Woods. The richest golfer in history. But I don't know the rules of the game that made me rich".

Geez Bob Costas is a self-important bag of dicks. Just saw that he said that if he were to commentate the Masters he would make a point to bring up past racism and sexism and he's disappointed in his colleagues at CBS for not doing so.

Really man, go to fucking Rock Center or whatever ratings dumpster of a news program you have there and politicize all the shit you want. It's almost as bad as those calling Condeleeza Rice an Uncle Tom for accepting membership.

Can't wait to see how he ruins Sochi coverage.
