And my pass went from $0 to $439... Bummer but the network pass was bound to die eventually.

Good thing I have you around to remind me of things to remember. You must be referring to one of those spring days I took a sack lunch and a thermos onto the plaza tables just to piss Cohee off.

Was raining hard on Donner, finally turned to snow around 9:30 and the deck is now getting spackled.

    Live from 7,800':

3-4 inches of thick fresh on the un-frozen slushy base. More in spots.
Snowing pretty well at 8:30am. Light/no wind.

When he approached our table to tell our dirtbag group off for bringing food and beer, I've never seen anyone's face turn from a slight disdain, to wide-eyed jaw-dropped horror, complete with a 180 degree turn and running away as soon as he heard your cackle.

You skiing anytime soon? I might be up this weekend.

Dont think squaw will be too good friday, maybe the granite hike. Alpine was super heavy everywhere below 7500. Decent amount of snow though, would have been 3 ft if it was cold. Lots of big wet slides on steep lower elevation terrain. The bowling ally ran full path.

^when i got to carson pass in the afternoon i talked to a guy leaving. he said watch the mini golf lines everything you touch runs full path. he was right. the stuff was oozing when i looked at it. kirkwood-dangberg may have been the same at that time, but it wasn't when i was there a bit earlier.

Floundered around in 7 or so inches of very dense snow on P-House this afternoon. Yeah it was slidey, esp. where the crust was firm. But elsewhere the turns were 3-dimensional in dry glop with foldy sounds.

Squaw had Gold Coast and most but not of Shirley open on Thursday; and that was IT for the upper mtn. Should be lots of untracked stuff this morning...for a few minutes.

The 3-5" that KW reports fell after the lifts closed looks more like a generous 3-5mm. Pretty tracked here. Drive was pretty stunning at about 7k. Thick heavy snow ghosts everywhere. Spring pow.

So what are you saying about the 17" listed on the page of lies?

Ugh. Snow at kwood yesterday was much more powder-like than today's consolidated slab fest.

    No.

Not debating that. And once I got up and around the hill, there are spots where it feels like inches. Spackled real nice. Been finding plenty of untouched landings. Side country up high is real fun. Anyone want to ski tomorrow.

at the top of the the spur yesterdays skin track was gone, so i would say 3-5 is about right. just about everything steep had rinsed itself

No, I would have called it at 3-5 centimeters, "after 4pm yesterday". And a good 3-5 millimeters at 7,800'.

Storm total about 10" overall average. That big Sentinal slab today was good wind deposition from the whole storm, not blown yesterday. (Not enough patrollers to open the entire hill yesterday.)

    Respect!

    Pali was lovely.

Looks like squaw was fun today. Nice hot pow laps brannen. Heard big blue closed today due to 3 consecutive roll backs, so much for the brand new chair... Had some fun out in Jackson Meadows, made it out to the black buttes. Things are burning out fast below 7. Hot pow is fun i guess but kinda hard to get fired up about after spending 2 weeks shredding 8k of blower out of the bucket in chamonix
