It was an event put on by L. Dyer's Shejumps and "get the girls out". The idea is for a bunch of chicks to get together and have a fun time in bright clothes on skis and basically have a blast. They asked me to take pictures. I agreed. It was fun. There really is nothing more to the story than the fact that a pack of 30+ ripping chicks skied on a drizzly cloudy day and honestly....it proved to me that it doesn't get much more fun than that. (Besides flat hardwoods and/or hanging out with a bunch of angry Internet dudes of course)

Sorry if anyone is offended by a link to a bunch of pictures of girls skiing. Actually. No. Scratch that. Not sorry

    ^you'll be sorry!

So what's this shitstorm that's abrewin? Should I be getting my skis ready? Is it gonna snow somewhere? Should I get my bike off the ceiling? Should I get my dry gear and find a kayak to use? Should I start driving to Utah now? Am I gonna be like this forever?

But really. I expect reports of whether or not it's actually snowing or raining or icing or pigs are flying. Cause I've just been sitting around holding my dick all day (week) waiting for it to snow.

    " Warnings
    Metro Montréal - Laval
    3:50 PM EST Sunday 09 December 2012
    Winter storm warning for
    Metro Montréal - Laval continued

Snow at times heavy is expected over these areas. A long period of freezing rain will begin Monday morning over Southern Quebec and will spread eastward later on.

A low pressure system over the Lower North Shore will move to lie off Labrador Monday morning. In its wake, high northwest winds will develop over Blanc-Sablon by midnight.

A second low pressure system from Colorado will reach the province of Quebec Monday and bring a mixed bag of precipitation. Snow will begin late this evening over southern regions and later Monday over Eastern Quebec. It will give total snowfall amounts between 15 and 20 centimetres. Road conditions will be hazardous Monday morning throughout Southwestern Quebec.

The warm front accompanying this low pressure system will sweep Southwestern Quebec early Monday morning. As this warm front approaches, snow will change to freezing rain in several locales, particularly in the St Lawrence Valley and the Ottawa Valley, before changing to rain in a few areas south of the St Lawrence. almost went to la reserve which was only $18 to hit some green circles on XC but the hangover thought i should stay in bed

a buddy was a tremblant who said it was sunny and soft but not worth $76

Werd. The triple black DH trail (Le Charlevoix?) though is pretty grassy up top I think...right? That's where I'd have been....I think.

Za'Dough was grey blue brown ice today in the AM. NASTY STUFF. Broke for pizza lunch early, then headed back up for an afternoon sesh in some late fall sunny wx, and found pretty nice corn in the sun with Ranger Jake and his lady friend. I'll take it!

    Heh. Agreed.

Was looking at the report for Le massif as well. Lots of pretty colors on the maps.

So who am I making turns with tomorrow if NoVT makes out with real live frozen stuff?

Good idea GP, I'm not sure though. That top pitch is not protected at all so wind would play a role..

Hoping for some morning XC and maybe even a turn, yew!

No . . . but I did shave my nuts and taint. Feel like a twelve year old. All this running with hairy nuts has been creating issues. Just sayin. Hahahahaha.

GP, it's redundant and repetitive to say that anyone who is not jealous is in denial.

about a 1/2 inch of ice chunks in the lakes region this morning, 35 and a steady rain when leaving for work at 5. Looks like the mtns should get some decent snow on the backend tonight. Killington wasnt to bad on friday, light crowds, no scratchy ice until about 3ish.

35` and raining bob, about 5/8" sleety pellets on the ground. bush is claiming it was too warm last night to groom[rolls eyes] and is currently making no snow. Somehow Killlington groomed 22 of 28 open trails last night and is making snow on several trails. WTF

weather loks good for riding Thurs/Friday [winky]
