Jeesus christ Mikey, that was sick POV on Rocket Pocket. Landing it pointed over the death cliff zone...fuck. The kick turn in that spot though takes the cake. Nice work, you should put this on the main page. *thread end*.

Haha, thanks v much, I might do a TR on it I suppose. I did not intend to flirt with the danger side quite so much on that first drop but wasn't really expecting the snow to be hard enough to bounce me towards death. I shit my pants a little bit there for sure, thank fuck I managed to stop myself dead after the bounce eh.

Also thanks 2stix, i'll have another few edits done in the next month or so.

Spooky, did you really have to make me crap by pants?
What a crazy f'n line! I knew you made it down, but watching that still got my heart rate up. Didn't even know it was skiable before looking at it from goats eye. Kick turn looked a little extra sketchy with long tailed/center mounted bentchetlers. Curious to see how your buddy on the board did it. Dug your other edit too.

Fuuuuu.. scary ass line. I wouldve frozen up hard after that first cliff.

What say the route finding masters, is traversing to the right of the pic just fucked; with shit possibly falling on you from above and traversing a unsupported slope? Or is it the safest way out if pucker reaches critical levels?

That was sick Spooky!!!. Looked like you were going to head straight over the killzone. Nicely done!. Just got back from another summer ski today. Actually got into a pretty cool line that a buddy pointed me in the Direction of.

Was anyone here up at Old Goat glacier on Saturday? Was up for a hike with the wife and saw some tracks heading out. Looks like there could be a couple ok lines up there

No idea about the Rae, but I put in a couple laps on some nice sloppy snow at Birdwood yesterday with Mex, Aqua Touque and his buddy Dave. I forgot my camera but I'm sure Mex can post up some stoke for you.

Winter may be long gone for me but i've had plenty of spare time to catch up with my editing whilst back in the UK.

Here's my entry to Britain's Got Skiers - a skiing/editing comp for British amateur skiers:

And here's a crash edit from the 2011-2012 season:

Sorry - I forgot to reply to this before. Do you mean looker's right? I don't think you'd have any trouble finding your way down there thus avoiding the second drop. I can't imagine anyone doing it though - if you're going to take on the first drop then you may as well finish the line properly and take the second one. Once the first one is out of the way the main danger is also out of the way and you can relax a bit when taking in the next stage.

There wouldn't be anything improper about a new variation of an existing line.

Maybe not but the only route out the other way would involve as much traversing as skiing. If you've successfully negotiated the first drop then I reckon the traditional route is a much more inviting line.

Bike season? Been hiking, scrambling, climbing and ...biking. I'm not doing a late season edit or anything but will do a deep snow specific edit and cut the camp footage in half. No motivation to do any of it though.

Well, found some motivation yesterday. Got a bunch of the powder vid done, then went to open up my camp footage in the editor and it's missing all of the edited files which I was going to use....the files just upped and dissapeared from the time line. I have had a finished version done for quite a while but since I wasn't happy with it I never uploaded that version. I can use that finished version and chop it up but then i'll be missing some sound which I want in there, and the other option is to just redo it all from scratch which was a pita the first time around. The catalogued edited files have to be some where...will look later.

I know what you mean, I had editing fatigue earlier in the season and just couldn't be bothered but then had a burst of motivation in the past couple months.

Anyway I hope you get some finished off, i've been looking forward to seeing them.

Annoying, what programme do you use? Have you changed any of the origin file/folder names since editing it?

Sony Vegas Pro V.10.0 I finished the original edit, then moved all the files over to an external HD. The vegas edit file is there I just can't open it...it's been corrupted some how and I get an error when trying to open it. Basically if it's not started by the time I start skiing again in October then it's a lost cause. I might do a chop to the current version but not ideal. Pow vid should be powey. Fucking EPIC season for deep snow.
