good thing he did all that training, it must be hard getting in and out of helicopters... I'd love to see the footage of a gopro getting mauled by a heli blade

I posted way back somewhere in the single digit pages and hoped that this day would come. I missed that whole sticker part though, as I myself had gone to the promised land (AK) and searched in vain for The Almighty. Apparently I was no where near worthy.The police never find it as funny as you do.

Today is a good day. GSA has blessed us all. March 27, 2012 will forever be know as GSAster. As with the holy christian day of Easter when Jesus rose from his tomb, the GSA has risen from his NYC corner office to the holiest of places known as AK to sit at the right hand of Ullr.
All believers and non-belivers shall celebrate this day in years to come. We shall make pilgrimages, offerings, prayers on this day for the GSA has sacrificed for all of us. I kneel in praise of the prophet Freeheel for he has seen what so many of us will never truely understand or know.
I truely feel redemtion on this glorious day and this thread has become complete.

This whole saga is like Dune except for it being real. We must anoint someone to transfer this to a book or even a 30 page 4 color coffee table magazine with a narrative, art work ,photos, and some of the best comments. I would buy it. Who is up to the task?

Powdertracks in the Snow
One night I had a dream--
I dreamed I was skiing AK Spines with the GSA
and across the sky flashed scenes from my GoPro.
For each scene I noticed two sets of ski tracks,
one belonged to me and the other to the GSA.
When the dual GoPro final edit of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the ski tracks in the pow.
I noticed that many times down the spines of my heli trip,
there was only one set of ski tracks.
I also noticed that it happened at the very gnarliest
and most puckered times in my run.
This really bothered me and I questioned the GSA about it.
"GSA, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you would ski with me all the way,
but I have noticed that during the most troublesome runs in my heli trip
there is only one set of ski tracks.
"I don't understand why in times when I needed you most,
you should leave me."
The GSA replied, "My precious, precious maggot,
I love you and I would never, never leave you
during your times of death cookies and sastrugi.
When you saw only one set of ski tracks,
it was then that I carried you, cradled in my harness."
