The Animal has been crucified...but the Gaper Spirit is omnipresent.

Did you purchase it from the "FS: Training for Alaska" thread? There is plenty of necessities worthy or purchase over there...

Will there be a crucifixion up on mountain high? Where will the resurrection take place?

Sorry to be the bearer of such awful news. Call me Pontious Pilate, if you wish.

This news makes my heart heavy and there is a hole inside of me the size of which rivals that of GSA's pack. Who will I turn to for guidance? Verily, this must be a test. Allow not your faith to be shaken!

I will bury an offering of GoPro batteries at Alta today and recite the ancient incantations (from 20 pages ago) in the GMD.

We were not meant to forever seek the GSA in physical form but to carry him in our heart. Look now for the GSA in yourself. Every time you overcompensate for image sake you will find the GSA. The GSA will be with you when you buy a pack with external shovel carry just because it looks more 'core. He will be watching when you mount your skis with Dukes yet never intend to skin. When you spend too much on the latest outerwear you don't need he will be smiling. Every time a skier's gear and steeze exceed his skill the GSA will be there and, as such, he will be everywhere! Thank you, GSA. Hallelujah!
Brother StuntCok I believe has deduced what is probably the core message of the GSA prophecy: to laugh at ourselves and realize there is a little gaper in all of us.

Wasn't that the point in the first place?
Those who deny ownership of their inner gaper may be beyond the help and guidance of even one as powerful as the GSA.

Yesterday, while proselytizing the gospel of the almighty GSA in the WP Admin Building, I began describing the sacred artifacts and accoutrements worn by the GSA.

Me: He has a holy GoPro mounted on his helmet facing forward, a holy GoPro mounted facing backward.......
Potential HR Convert: ........and a Contour mounted on the side of his helmet! I saw that guy at Jackson Hole at the beginning of the year! It was an unforgettable apparition!

The GSA blessed Jackson Hole with snow during his trip.
No matter where you go, there you are.......Buckaroo Banzai

I wonder if the GSA went with a front flip or back flip into Corbet's? Or perhaps he made use of his harness and climbed down the side?

In the world of over the top, a pair of Dynafits on a pair of MFD plates would have sent-it all the way.
except that all the GSA's gear is brand freaking new. Also, I talked to the guy at snowbird the day the pic that started all this was taken. I did not get the feeling that he had much of a sense of humor about his getup.

I believe. It is not blind faith, I have seen the face of GSA firsthand and know his glory.

The number of 'training for Alaska' comments I heard in lift lines on Blackcomb this past weekend was nuts.

Are these the rotated 90 degrees Believe stickers, and where do I get one?

"Are you training for AK?" should really be the new "Change..."
    No longer stuck.

    Priceless...

Question: If you miss a powder day, how many hail GSA's do you have to perform?
