Shovel to walkway, showing pavement @ 6pm, redone at 8:30, measured 15cm on the money. Car was parked at like 4pm, just spent half hour digging it out so it can move in the a.m. Tommorrow is going to be all time. Lanina is back and she's pissed. To those of you that "thanked" me for "sacrificing" work time last year, have fun in your cubicle / office LMFAO

Make sure you check with Parks Canada before you head out as there were planned closure for tomorrow.
SSV access, TransCanada and Kootenay highways.
This in addition to some "unplanned".

SSV access probably won't affect people heading up to ski if they leave at normal pow time. 93N is closed, getting control work tommorrow. All highways past the SSV turnoff including #1 will be closed, get the word out.

PM a description? On the off chance it was one of my usual crew I'll be sure to pass that along. Doing anything but going straight in there is just plain bad form in every imaginable way.

Have been up at SSV every day since mid last week and life just keeps getting better and better, and deeper and deeper. Some of the deepest inbounds I can remember and some absolutely epic laps of WW.

Tied for top snowfall on the TGR page snow totals. Not often you see that!

Puked all morning at Kimberley and faceshots galore. In for lunch then switching to the skis this afternoon as getting stuck on the board tried to traverse OB.

Good riding with you guys P.Blz. Sorry I took off there but wanted to catch first tracks on Geneva Glades. No waiting on a powder day.

Lake Louise was really damned sweet again. Sun was out, getting warmer for sure. The crowds the past 2 days has been retarded. Been looking like a weekend, where the fuck are all these people coming from?

Watched the gaggle from top of Paradise...shit show up on Whitehorn, did the anti crowd maneuvering which has worked out really well, let lemmings be lemmings

Watched it crack while getting pow in *undisclosed location*....looked funny when the ants came down it.

Starting to become Goldenshowerized....fucking Calgary fucks and their full on highway douchebaggery is in full effect. Suprised no highway deaths in the past 2 days....amazed actually. Seriously, leave 15 minutes earlier fer fuck sakes. *end rant*

How have the crowds been at SSV? What about Golden??

Yeah, that was hands down the biggest crowds I've seen at the Lake ever on a non-holiday weekday. Doesn't matter how well you try to stay away from them, you still run into the crowds at the chairs. Stupid long waits...or maybe I'm just normally spoiled?

Parking lot was 100% full at SSV today. Then Mt. Bourgeau got heli-bombed and took out the road from 130-415. Everything got skied at weekend pace today. West was pretty well shralped after 2 laps (to the base).

Watched the bombs go in the Dive. Milky way looked like it went pretty close to base. Below the waterfall & Hayes traverse will be interesting tomorrow/when it cracks.

Pretty big crowd at the gondola at KH in the morning, as big as any weekend crowd. Then Stairway got super busy, but by 11 or so there was essentially no wait for either.

Snow was amazing today, light fluffy stuff ontop of the sopping wet stuff we got the past few days. Must've gotten 6 gondy laps and 10 or 12 on stairway, serious vert. Feuz was absolutely amazing when it opened, hit a lot of really nice lines, and straightlining the chopped pow was so easy a sasquatch can do it. KH always seems to ski deeper than the report suggests.

Oh yes, and it was "partially bluebird" today. I like to look on the bright side, and partially cloudy doesn't cut it.

A lot of terrain has been closed since the start of the storm, should be freshies for a while yet.
