Have 2 day cat skiing scheduled Jan 3 and 4 with Big Red Cats in Rossland. Anyone advise on snow. thinking of trying to reschedule if snow is only ok and not Good. Anyone advise. Starting to snow down here (No Idaho Silver and Lookout) but still wondering. Hate to spend $ and time if the conditions are mediocre. Help

Yup. Just tommorrow, heading off to Whistler the next day. Will probably be over at Ruedi's if it doesn't snow tonight, if it does and it's good will be in resort. What time you heading there?

Probably not until late - can't checkin until 4pm so might ski SSV in the am and then head to Golden.
I'll try to remember to bring it with me regardless.

No the punters and gorbies will come anyways. Makes for a long gondy up listening to people talk about themselves and how great they are and all the runs they can ski. As for the 15+cm, wasn't I right? The Advanced weather data was kept up to date! Not so much this morning. As they had to close the hill early there should be some good stuff up there with A LOT of new snow!

It poured heavy all night at my house and they're reporting a cool 26cm's at the weather station. Although I haven't heard any bombs yet!?!?!? Yesterday was slough management!

Rained at the very bottom of Kimberley last night, but another nice powder day on Easter and Tamarack.

Wednesday night the rain line was just bellow Whitepass. The skiing on Whitepass was good (not epic but good). Curry opened today, the top half was nice, however the lower half was horrible. I didn't bother checking out Lizzard/Cedar. More snow is in the forecast for tonight, let's hope it actually snows.
