snowed about 2 inches at keystone this morning from 8-10. Wind picked up around noon there.. Right now it looks like it is snowing hard in frisco but the damn wind is blowing it around like crazy.

windy on the valley floor but still pretty warm at 34 degrees and no precip. I think tonight will be a bust but tomorrow the second lobe of energy should get the snow machine going.

^snow machine is working fine around here, so is the wind machine. 113mph gust this hour at the top of Mines Pk. and 80mph at 8000' in Dumont. Definitely the strongest winds I've seen in a while, I wouldn't be surprised to see a bit of tree damage in the morning.

Fuck! The 40ft. White spruce in our yard just blew onto my car. Absolutely insane out there right now. I hope our windows hold up through the night.

That is some insane wind speeds! I want to head up to make some turns in the morning but if it's that windy there is no way. Hope your car survived.

    that sucks buddy.....

Not even a flurry at the house and it was windy but nowhere close to that windy. Gonna get out and poke around later so we'll see if it snowed up high and hopefully it cranks up this morning everywhere.

Well that sucked. 4" at the top of Vail yesterday morning, but after 11, nuttin' and none at Breck. Guess we'll have to cross our tips for the second hit to pull through. On the up side, the benefit was super fun.

It was snowing pretty good last night but blown away this morning. Woke up and my grill, which weighs over a hundred pounds was blown across the back porch.

The vehicles survived with mostly minor damage. The roof of my Cherokee has a nice basketball sized dent and the back part of the rack railing was ripped off, amazingly the windows are intact. It snowed all night but the peaks I can see from my window have less snow on them than yesterday. The wind also blew over our old full sized refrigerator that was in our driveway waiting to get scrapped.

not very windy in Eagle County...breezy but not windy. The hill had about 2 or 3" and that was it...pretty warm out too. The valley has very light snow but no accumulation.

It was really starting to pick up at Loveland when I was leaving at 3pm. The wind was still pounding pretty hard though. The wind is playing havoc with the snow in this storms. A little bit of snow, a whole lotta wind.

Hopefully it'll continue to snow good through the night and the wind will subside a little. Fingers crossed as I'm off tomorrow. Either another day of riding or else I'll go fishing.

Had a good feeling about this one coming in on a W flow. Reports of 2' overnight in the CB BC- wish I wasn't stuck in Denver right now.

it was dumping most of the day up off of kebler on Saturday and some of the north facing stuff surprisingly had quite a bit of new snow already, it's still snowing hard in mt. CB so i can't imagine what kind of snow the backcountry is getting.

This storm sucked. Funny how Steamboat and CB/Aspen backcountry could get so much while areas in between got (largely) skunked. Can't quite figure it out. WSW to W flow does well for Schofield Pass area, but still can't figure out why some areas did so poorly. Overall, pretty low moisture for most of the storm...that may have been an issue. Damn weather forecasting...

5" max on the mountain here... that 2 feet in the CB backcountry would have been nice.

Think the storm got sheared apart from the insane winds, but that doesn't explain CB bc getting so much snow. Looking for a good pattern as we could use some snow in the bc.
