Re: new design to the website, I know grouping by pass (5 mountain) would be nice. In the next few weeks, we're hoping to allow you to customize your dashboard, so you can re-order the resorts/areas as you see fit. Good feedback, though...keep it coming.

As for the next storm, the southern cut-off looks to be somewhat of a non-player, while the northern energy looks better each model run. Looks like off-and-on snowfall from Sat afternoon through Monday. Models are crap in figuring out exact timing, amount of moisture, and total snowfall, so hard to nail things down. Sunday looks niiiice, but Mon & Tue could also be nice for I-70 and north. Just need to wait another 24-36 hours to nail this thing down.

Actually, I guarantee that Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday will be sweet because I won't be in the state (dammit). Oddly enough, I made plans months ago to attend this weekend's Penn State v Nebraska game. It's going to be interesting. I'm sad for the kids affected, sad for Paterno, sad for the University...there are no winners.

Great update. Much improved. One minor gripe: I still have to click the 'Login Now' button for it to recognize me.

Is the easy access to 'The Daily Snow' still coming? I'd love to be able to only have to click one link to access it from my Dashboard.

I'm not sure what signing up even gets you.... Gratzo, what does logging in allow you to do that a regular site visit can't?

My browser doesn't recognize my login info either, but I can still see the 5-day forecast. Good enough for me, as there aren't really any other site features that I need to use.

Both my work computer and home computer wont recognize my log in. But I suck at the interwebz so that doesn't mean anything.

Get ready for some wind and snow. The latest NAM has 110mph winds at 11k over north/central CO for Saturday morning.

All, thanks for your patience on the new site. We're working to fix the site so your computers will automatically log you in. Stay tuned!

Logging in just allows you to customize the dashboard, and to setup alerts...

Big stuff coming this weekend. Summarized here: http://opensnow.com/state/CO/dailysnow Watch out for road closures Saturday afternoon/evening with the wind!

Looks like it'll be dumping tomorrow night for the CAIC party, how can you not have a great time when it's puking outside?

Fuck yeah! Looks like these conditions mean the BC is gonna have to stay super mellow for a while, but resorts are looking to be a ton of fun!

Heads up for those traveling from the Front Range to the CAIC bash in Breck. May want to consider booking a room or crashing with friends for the night as the peak of the storm could be hitting during an anticipated drive home.

seems like the initial system won't impact areas south of Steamboat that much but the most snow should fall on Sunday with the secondary storm. NWS discussion doesn't seem nearly as hopeful as it did just this morning. I guess we'll see what she does.

light snow in the morning and most of the afternoon here in CB, roads starting to get covered now since the sun is going down. There was several inches of new snow just in the morning off of kebler, wouldn't be surprised to see them get 2ft once the real stuff starts.
