Thanks for the runs yesterday, Tone and Pnut; was great to finally get out for the first time this season, in some real nice pow to boot. Pussed out today and settled for the hot tub and college football. Hopin' we're in for a great winter, one we'll be talking about years from now.

I'll pretty much echo everything everything that's been said. Cold as hell, lots of wind-loading, but sick turns to be had. Stay warm and safe.
We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

Nice dude, me and Pnut had a blast there on Wednesday. So stoked that everyone is getting in on it, gonna be hard not to go tomorrow despite the cold, maybe not as windy? So much good skiing left to do.

Totally calm and bluebird today. Skinned up to the top of bridger gulley from the apron and found great stability. Fresh tracks down B-gully all morning, never crossed a track. One core shot from some rock in the gut skiers left of poppa bear, but soft landings!

Good call single, that must have been sweet. My afternoon trip to the nose was not so fruitful. PORKED out. Like 1:00 on a pow day in February. Wanted to hit Bridger Gully too but looked like tons of peeps headed there ahead of me, Oh well, behind the curve today. Gotta start getting up early again. Boo Hoo.

Anyone got the lowdown on what's opening at big sky on Thurs? The website says pretty much all the lifts will be running, but I can't tell if that's marketing bullshit / something that hasn't been updated since last spring, or if they're actually opening most lifts.

And sorry to put this in the bridger thread. I figured someone here likely knows the answer, and the question didn't warrant its own thread.

They're aiming for a wall-to-wall opening on Lone, even the tram. Still getting some good sized slides so we'll see. One biggun in the bowl ran all the way to tower 7 on the triple.

Prob. have to wait a little for full Andesite opening, but who cares about that... challenger lookin good I hear.
