Nice shots tone, love the shot north (with pinball staring me in the face).

Had a good time and won some cool stuff during the raffle (probe and snowboard). Though no winning video prizes :-(
(apparently you need to work at Bridger and invite all your coworkers to vote for you to win [/rant].)

Though I thought the overall winning video kinda sucked, there were several cool vids, to see them all go to the Point and Chute 2010 tab at the bottom right at:
    http://www.bridgerbowl.com/powderplex/

Seeing as how I don't snowboard, the board, an Arbor Draft 155 (rockered), is for sale for $250 obo.

I've finally had an opportunity to upload the final version of the edit. Enjoy and hopefully it keeps snowing so I can ski in July or August (maybe June if the doc gives me the OK).

edit: shit, just realized this has been posted 3 times now, haha sorry.

I know I know, sweet blog, just interested in hearing some opinions. Glad you guys are getting some snow again

easiest for bb is to maybe get out of the reselling biznass, don't supply the pieps to the n00bs & remove their liability from that part of it...

a written test when you get your pass for the scannable info that you're avy savvy seems problematic, logistically challenging and easily cheated...

nice lil vids fellas, be fun to do one w/a dumbass funny plot for next yr...

Yeah, you're probably right, don't even sell any gear.

I'm NOT suggesting any testing at all. I added a paragraph to hopefully make my intent a little clearer.

although I would prefer they didn't sell any avy gear w/ their pass, I'm surprised that they don't at least have a shovel, peeps, probe, & pass. If you recommend it why would you sell a package without it?

Would be fun do to a themed vid... with a goofy chase scene or something that showcases the skiers' abilities and some cool terrain.

Also, I think it would be better next year to have a panel of qualified judges to rank the videos and do away with the popular vote. The winners from the past two years are merely the ones who bring the most friends to the event to vote for them, despite having inferior films. The video contest should be a celebration of skiing skill, film making expertise, and overall fun at BB... not a popularity contest.

Crazyskier's vid was way better than most, and definitely better than the winning video. At least he won the snowboard! And rock-on, Ned, for that saber segment.

You should of nutted up and skied ze Meat Grinder Tone
    Indeed!!
Is it good to go right now?
Don't you homos ever think of anything other than direct south facing? BB, I can tell you it's probly way worse than when you climbed back out of it last year.

We've gotten about 15 inches of snow here in the last month, so just happy anything at all is good.

Still finding shitty snowpack, going to be an interesting spring.

Got to do this one today, except exiting skier's right, just under the big cliff.
Rad-ass turns of the year for me. Sorry Shane, beat ya to it this time!

Hey Bridger Mags. Who wants to do a longboard day this year? I might have to make it out for one more day.

Heading to the shop right now to get my skis mounted. April 6th?

Here's a crappy video of some excellent skiing from yesterday (3/26).

Pretty rough, no music, etc. but I think it's pretty fun. My buddy David and I had a blast making it, hope someone enjoys it. Thanks crazyskier for the use of the helmetcam!

Hell yeah Norseman, really like all the little sneaks to airs and straightlines. Really like the floaty 3's off the windlip as well. Gotta try that sometime.

You should try heading straight down that fall line from the upper spine at 5:02 sometime. Probly would still be death this year though.

Winter storm warning for this afternoon and tonight, 8-15 inches called for above 6500 ft. Possibility of 20 inches.

Hopefully mark heyka the gay meteorologist is right for once.

Hey guys, I lost one of my 4frnt EHP's up in Mundy's last week. It is last years model in the 193. (Canadian pilsner graphic) I dropped into Pacino's way too hot and went for a scary tumble, and once I pulled my shit together the whole thing sloughed out and one ski was gone. I figure it got on the surface and rocket shipped downhill. Keep an eye out for me. Thanks.
