It's a tree in my backyard and two frozen compost bins. Sweet.

Kind of fuzzy because my lens is a little beat up. But this is the sign post out on Shemya, AK (Eareckson AFB at end of the Aleutians). I would have loved to take more pictures out there but they prolly would have shot me.

hartzejr - I had a friend working out there a few years back. He said it was bleak, cold and dreary - and he loved it.

Randeck Castle above Essing, Germany in the Altmuehl Valley just south of where I live. It was nice to see some more sun again today.

I took this yeseterday. It's just down the road from my house. Not another soul around, just me and the dog post-holing through the snow along the creek. Very peaceful and very nice.

A shot of the castle/church in town tonight. It came out softer than I'd like thanks to the blowing snow that you can't see in the semi-long exposure. It's snowing out hard right now with a lot more expected overnight. May have to try this vantage in the daylight if/when the conditions calm down.

ml242- it looks like your focus point in the shot is off. It appears as if her shoulder or the left side of the hood is the sharpest, and her face is slightly OOF.

My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.
