I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

Not much for composition, putzing around with the new tripod again. I guess my eyes are perma-blurry because I manually focused this one, LOL. Looks a bit blurred in full rez.
Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.
From new Stevens Pass a few weeks ago.

I (heart) monte christo
I googled "bokeh" after seeing it mentioned in another thread, then did some experimenting with my D40 and the 50mm 1.4 lens from my Nikon F. This turns out to be a great way to find out if your glass is clean. I saw a pattern repeated in each of the color circles in the effect, took the filter off my lens, cleaned it, pattern gone.
The good side of being a complete rookie hack is I'm constantly having new discoveries.

Somewhat in keeping with the "lights" theme...
