So I finally got a dSLR. And I am not used to shooting a prime 50 on a crop sensor. The whole morning walking to the farmers market I kept mumbling "this thing is so tight!" I guess I was more used to shooting at 50 or at 100, but not at 75-80.

I had a wake and bake so everything looked damn tasty at the market today, especially these, with my mk1 50 1.8:

edit: bah! didn't notice the camera shake on the grapes at first ... okay these were tasty too ... I think I should have gone a stop down here.

^^^^ remarkably similar to one of my rejects for the unsightly MPC. (I kinda like it better than the one I went with, but thought it was too similar to Jackamo's pic...)

This one didn't make it either, but I still like it. I didn't think it fit the theme well enough.

A few shots from last week in AK--I like these simply because they characterize the trip pretty well.

The reverend had a little cast and blast session. Nice. I'm heading up fishing today in about 30 mins. In the mean time, I took these two of my dog yesterday at the park.
