that's how I felt too. I wasn't crazy about that picture. And I definitely need a tripod to make some of the longer exposure shots come out clearer.

Not sure why I never looked into this thread.

    Some great images by all.

I have decided my camera has been sitting neglected for far too long and it's time to tap into my creative side again.

Nothing at all special about this, I just like it.

Here's something a little different, it's a photo montage I did for a digital class.

I love how close that tent is to the fire.

A few shots with the new camera

I got my new camera two days ago and I chased the dog around for a while to play with it. I'm still getting dialed in, but WOW, what an improvement. Here's a few of my dorky old dog I took while taking him for a walk.

yeah, sorry, they're pet pictures... at least i don't have kids.

He's 9, but still kicking along just fine. We owned his mom, so he's been my shadow since the day he was born.

Just a couple days ago. If you were around that day you saw the weird clouds
I was way out (25+ miles) off Red Rock looking at a couple properties that day.
The clouds were crazy all day and had popped up in more than one of my shots of the exteriors i did.
Took this out the window of the jeep as i was headed south on RRock.
Peavine can be seen on the right. The clouds further south are bunched around mt rose which was probably around at least 20 or more miles away.
    Nikon D90
    kit 18-105 lens
    centerweighted focus on the cloud.

Decided to do some playing around with one of my entries for the previous MPC. Some of you may recognize this one. Here's the result:

Sweet dog stoke samthaman - you should post them in that thread (Padded Room) too.

    Speaking of flashbacks...

Me and my girls with Dr. Feelgood at a wild party in wonderland
Not to artsy but whooo what a party. One cup of tea was plenty!

    An experiment from today...

If anyone has an 82mm Cir Polarizer, that would be great.
This is the worst pain EVER!
