Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason
Wow, that is a monster. Man, scary big. Still in disbelief!!
Yowsa. How many avi deaths @ Gulmarg per season?
I think if you got caught in that you would have bigger problems than asphyxiation. I can only imagine how many tons of snow would be sitting on you if you were at the bottom of it.
Preserving farness, nearness presences nearness in nearing that farness
No deaths this season or last, that I know of, at the resort involving foreign skiers. But, in general in Kashmir, many, many residents die as a result of avalanche, each winter.
There were several slide incidents at Gulmarg this past winter, but no complete burials, and all were rescued by their riding mates.
On 8 February 2007 one Australian man was buried and swept to his death in Sheenmal Bowl, directly south of the Gondola Bowl. It is the last known death by avalanche at Gulmarg (see blog post HERE).
The increased safety at Gulmarg is largely due to the Gulmarg Safety Team (many, many thanks) of Brian N., Jamie O., & Aviette M., - these folks here:

^^^haha, i just spent like an hour looking at those photos on facebook while i was in class.
but looking at the path/debris, i cant place where that drainage is? Is it over by the Drang bowls?
some random thoughts ...
how wide was this crown? it looks like a fairly tight drainage?
with a number of layers visable in the crown wall, why that layer? can the people in the know please educate me on the date of the layer and the bed layer statistics pretty please?
The top layer looks extermely wind scared, wot elevation?
Is there a bigger crown that has been studied?
We, the RATBAGGERS, formally axcept our duty is to trigger avalaches on all skiers ...
