A few from a hike on Saturday, Barr Lake State Park in Brighton, CO. Fairly hazy skies, I did what I could.

Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.

I think I used that tree to frame a different shot last week! We've been doing sunrise trips around the city. We tried to find stuff in North Cheyenne Canyon today but didn't get much. Red Rocks open space is a bit of a bust too with those houses on the next ridge.

Did get a couple from up on Gold Camp though:

Fenris - the two gnarly junipers is sort of a classic shot - see it all the time on Garden of the Gods postcards - I was up there for a photo workshop over the weekend. I'm waiting for a decent snow to go back and see what I can get.

Red Rocks is tough to get decent shots - I go out there at lunchtime some days - haven't really had much luck.

You live in the Springs? Shoot me a PM if you are interested in meeting up sometime - it's nice to have someone to meet for the sunrise shots.

I more think of it as suck in the Springs due to school, but I get out as much as I can on geology trips and whatnot.

We try to get out once a week it seems, so look for any partly cloudy forecast for Monday and Tuesday mornings, because that is the only time that I will be able to head out next week.

GREAT framing. Beautiful shot. I would be tempted to crop out some of the foreground. Looks like a beautiful day.
