Thanks for the link! I was wondering if there was going to be video of the interview online after I read Mclean's blog. It would have been nice if they had put in a plug for a decent Avy level 1 course instead of making it sound like just having the gear will save your life but oh well...at least they got on GMA

yeah, that seems to be the trend these days. Forget avoiding the situation all together instead lets just be prepared for when it happens. Good to see some mainstream converge regardless, andrew is the man.

they said that recco reflectors can reflect a beacon signal? is that true, and if so, wouldn't that screw up your beacon search if you or someone else that isn't burried was wearing a jacket with one?
