Someone posted that there was no one there yesterday for the opening of 4;I respectfully beg to differ.I'm guessing there were at least 100 people stampeding into the Euro-style queue with elbows abounding. It got skied beaucoup quick!
Yeah, it was a free-for all with at least 100-150 on line. Was 1st guy down Chair 4 (Scrub) which wasn't too shabby Got 11 laps in on 4 with no one there near EOD. That was best resort-side snow of year for me. Where did everyone go after an hr or so? Bunch of slackers

To me, this was the best skiing of this storm so far. Keep it comin'!!!

You are using the same rationale I am to convince myself going to work today was a good idea...it is all we have to stay sane.

heh... should've seen me on my first lift-served day in the US after skiing the Yurp for 18 years. I was pissing people off, omg ... They *breed* the chicken-winging over there.

I NEVER actually chicken winged anybody, so don't tell stories about me Larry! And I certainly never touched anybody's skis. Scott claimed it was my T and my A getting me up in the line, but I never used those either!

My plan of attack is to watch the space immediately in front of me. If there's a gap, I put my ski there. Very simple, really. When we were waiting for the lift to open initially, I waited up high instead of down in that hole, so I just coasted by a bunch of snowboarders. And when I'd come in after a lap, I would look at the mob and pick the best spot to work in.

I skied five laps of untouched and then headed for the pass. And this is after some other nice skiing. It was a great day for sure.

More tomorrow. It's snowing like crazy right now and they're saying it'll be another foot of snow and bluebird.

Was up there today. Got spanked off of chair 2. Went skiiers right on that little hill at the top, go to drop in over the rocks and caught one on the top. Sent me in a front slip and gave me a 6 inch long coreshot on my ski. Might be up tomorrow if I can, if not I'll be up there Saturday and Sunday for sure.

On the radio they were saying 7-12" but on the Loveland website it just says 1-2" overnight. I dunno. It's still snowing out my window.

I'll ask it here too. Looking to ski tommorow anywhere in the 5 pass mtn or hiking LLpass with a vet who wants to teach and be patient for some free beer.

Looking for any ride from Boulder and back.

Anywhere else to find a ride?

Sorry just absolutely dying to ski tommorow.
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

I'm going up from Boulder, leaving early, but not coming down - if you can find a return-ride, you're welcome to pool with me from Boulder.

Had fresh, untracked deep turns ALL day. (Did I mention I was on the Lhasa Pows )Tomorrow may be just as good. Really.
