    Nice, but too dark ro read. At least it gets rid of the banner on the right.

    Make the text of the threads more white instead of grey and I think it would be easier to read. I will use it for a few days and see how I like it then.

    i enjoy it: easy on the eyes. add a black text on light-grey background for completeness.

    i use the same color palette (as carbon_fibre) on all my terminals.

    It is a little dark, but I like the direction its going. And it makes it weigh less as well.

    oh, one problem: visited links are the same color as non-visited ones. it's impossible to figure out where i've been.

    I agree. The title gray color is one shade too dark for easy readability.

    Find it too harsh. I don't mind the grey one but it would be much better if the red underlines were toned down. Maybe white instead. It's funny the banner ad is only on the blue one. Not sure why the banner would be a big deal to anyone. At some point you guys need to make money off of this or at least pump your stuff.

    i haven't trained my eyes for bold/non-bold text... my own website uses the following colors which work quite well:

    .sitebody a:link {
    color: #999999;
    }

    .sitebody a:visited {
    color: #555555;
    }

    although this may be a bit too dark for this forum where there are way too many threads and links...

    Bit tough on mine eyes. And text seems smaller as well.

    hmm. i've changed my mind: i need something with a higher contrast for spending several hours a day to look at.

    and with larger text, although i can fix this on my side.

    it's a bit too dark. can you try more of a lighter carbon\grey background with orange for the thread titles?

    Banner ad is gone, so it's a winner in my book.

    The red underlines are in the 'site match' style which is a light grey background on messages. I'm starting to like that one even with the red.

    The color is okay, but does it have to be a tiny town text?

    Oh sweet, we got a bunch of new forums, like padded room, and tech talk, and ski snowboard.

    Everything is harder to read in "carbon fibre" but if this is the only way to not have the annoying banner ad, so be it.

    I agree- we just updated the theme with some larger text- we'll keep playing around with it to get the contrast right.
    I think the skinnier text will help to mitigate a right skyscraper ad.

    I'm liking it, but I prefer a less pastel color pallet. You started with nice and basic and now, this peppermint green and lemonade yellow are the suck.

    Tough on the eyes. I might like it better with bigger type and better defininition between posts.

    i like the new colors: they work well in this theme. i admit i am a big fan of pastel and light colors, but this theme is a bit too dark for them, still, they work well.

    i used to use an operating system whose entire window management was created specifically to ease the eye and used very gentle pastel colors. it was the only thing that allowed me to stare at a monitor for 12 hours at a time without my eyes getting tired. if anyone is interested, i can provide the general palette from there. it was, however, black text on light background.

    edit: one issue with the new version of vbulletin: clicking on 'edit' doesn't bring the usual edit window, only a small square which soon disappears. instead i need to click "edit" twice to go to edit my posts. it fails to work in both themes identically.

    browser is camino on mac (gecko rendering engine, should be the same as firefox)

    The colors have changed nicely from the green and yellow.

    f2f - I am having the same edit problem on ff3beta on mac.

    Font too small and the pinkish color is kinda annoying. The rest is ok.
