As much as I don't want to do this... It's obvious there is no way I'll get back and use my 2 remaining Loveland lift tickets (from 4 pack) still this year before closing day. I'll mail them to someone who can PROMISE they will get used!!! Please don't ask for them if you might not use them, I can just waste them myself if that was what would happen. Oh, also... you must yell "Whooo Hooo" loud on the lifts at least once!
If some of the best times of my life were skiing the UP in -40 wind chill with nothing but jeans, cotton long johns and a wine flask to keep warm while sleeping in the back of my dad's van... does that make me old school?

Can you/he/she? meet the two simple requests? Please DON'T waste them, and yell whooo hooo on the lifts? Oh also, I suppose I KNOW I wouldn't want someone to take them just to resell them.

They were gifts from buds of mine for my hosting at Crested Butte earlier this year, one of them has since been run over and may never ski/board again? So I'd feel terrible if they went to waste, either in my hands or anyone elses.

I suppose trying to expand my whooohooo.com empire using a ticket give away is weak sauce... In reality, it's a silly tradition started with said run over friend... hence the request. If it's just for one guy, how about one lift ticket? That way I can spread the joy. PM me your (or his) address and I'll mail one out tomorrow.

    Leaves one left.

thursday was money $$$..!! overcast,snow,partlycloudy,sunny.. good temps..light wind if any depending on where your riding. snow was good and light in the morning till around 1ish but turned alittle wetpackish towards the very end of the day. by 2-3 aclock that place was a wasteland ..totaly slayed and tracked for the most part. tons of hiking freshlines still left over if you know where to go. they again say around 6" but it was much deeper prob around 10" or so and deeper on different parts of the mtn. dumping hard when i left the lot

Totally. I just couldn't get enough of that general region of the mountain... Until going back to 1 to admire the work.

Ridge was $$$ this morning. Straightlines in Patrol Bowl, hucks, and mishaps on Headwall. Stayed cold all day, but the ridge was SLAYED 'cept for porcupine saddle by the end of the day.

BTW Thanks for skiing with me Baxter and Chase. I had an awesome time.

Loveland tommorow? If I were you, and I could go ... I'd go.

Did a short day on the hill today and found very variable conditions. Lots of dust on crust. But, in the right spots (typically mellow slope angle with smooth snow underneath) there were turns to be had that were powdericious and buttery. It was lots of fun for the dozen or so skiers there to enjoy it.

I think 9 was open but I didn't go up there. Unfortunately, the ocho was closed. Too bad b/c I"m sure that would've been the $$$ spot on the hill (much like Corn Harvest day when 8 killed it). Is 8 closed for the season?

Wouldn't take much more snow to turn tommorow into a bona-fide powder day. It was starting to snow again as I left at 1:45 ish. If you can go tommorow ... get up there for those of us that can't.
