    this storm = the great dud of the season.

    nothing like forecasting 6"-18" and getting 4" or 5".

    the sun is poking through the clouds in Breck.

    I'm not calling it a dud yet. 8" on Bertoud and it's still snowing...could be skiing 12"+ tomorrow. Not too shabby.

    Yes, hoping it's just delayed... all my shit was in the car, but 4" just doesn't do it today... so I'm working.

    I dunno, I don't see areas west of the divide picking up too much more snow. A look at the water vapor loop shows that the low has already moved far enough to the east to create upslope conditions. Upslope conditions don't bring too much snow to the areas west of the divide unless it's a monster of a storm with abundant moisture. Berthoud/WP/LL could do alright, but this storm has definitely been a let down for areas west of the divide, thus far. Hopefully, Ullr will prove me wrong.

    We've done pretty well this season, at least in Breck, in meeting the minimum forecasted snow totals. The only other time we've gotten skunk'd badly was the last winter storm warning we were under, maybe a month ago.

    Eldo Called 10". Got up there and it skied more like 4". Not sure where they measured 10" but it was still a good time. got on the lift with pro climber Colin Lance. He looked at my Prophet 130's (I was expecting 10"), sarcastically said, "That's a lot of ski for today huh? Then he fell off the chair. It was fucking hilarious.

    Just got back from LL. Skiing Goood, Viz not soo good. Its snowing hard with an excessive amount of wind mixed in.
