05-06 line prophet 130 question

this question will most likely be best answered by someone who owns the same skis, model year and all

so i got these skis, the green ones, a few years ago in april of 05, 6 months before they came out (this may be important later). anyways, recently, while thinking about selling them, i noticed "180" printed on the skis on the ball the bird is holding in the crest......... but these skis have only ever been made in 186 cm, as far as i know. i tried measuring, but i dont know exactly how they measure skis and the total length was right between the two numbers in question, making me even more confused.

my question is, do other people who own these skis have a "180" printed on their skis in this spot in question, or a "186"......... or if someone could measure their 186's using some repeatable method, that would be great. i just dont want to sell them as 186's and then find out they are actually 180's that were never released and have a mad customer on my hands....... i dont know why they would print "180" as the only noticeable number on a ski that measures 186 cm, so my conclusion is that they are 180 cm, yet a 180 cm prophet 130 was never released to my knowledge. and i have really good eyes, it really is a "180" not "186"

this could be the stupidest question ever, but i am very confused, and any help would be greatly appreciated. i can get pictures if necessary

It's either a misprint that's meant to say 130 or 186 or your ski is a rare 180 cm long 100 making it worth a lot. Take it to a shop and slap it back to back w/ any 186 twin and see which is longer

i wish it was this easy......if it was, i never wouldve made this thread. i am currently residing in upstate ny, so i figure the closest shop with a pair of 130s in stock is most likely about 2000 miles away. it would be really helpful if someone could measure their 186's, in inches preferably, and then tell me how they measured so i can measure mine...... just wanna figure this out

i swear it says 180...my eye sight is damn near perfect...better than 20/20... i would not make this thread unless i was 100% sure that it was a "180" not a "186"..... the question is not what it says, but rather the meaning of what it says
