Last year at KW's qualifiers, I was 19 or 20th or something, and I qualified so I was happy and didn't care, but when I home I added up the cards and their math was wrong and I should have been two points higher, which would have put me like 9th or 10th. If that mistake would have resulted in me missing the cut I would have been piiissssed. Do you think you have an argument to get in still?
The only other time I've picked up my cards there was also an error. I didn't notice it, but frozen did and it moved me up a couple of places.

I'm not worried about getting in. There may have been a mistake, but I still didn't earn it. I'll go for it again next year and come with a rowdier line. That was the real mistake. I would love to compete on Silver Fox and North Baldy. Conditions are prime for some big hucking. That's really my forte. I'm not the best crud skier/most fluid guy. I like to huck.

He's fallen off more than one cliff this season goin for it.

And props to Athan and Mike! I'm not sure Ben Wah will be on the Bros in this comp, but he has been skiing them lately.

Is Moles on those one-off rockers you made for him?

Here's the start list for tomorrow, super stacked field, but strange not to see Garbiel, Tabke and many of the usual Frenchies (i.e. Coirier, Chicherit, Ducroz, etc.) in there who competed in the Euro FWT events:

Looks our man Bobby got a little photo here with the 192's. Who's that wearing Aegix next to him? Athan?

I'm in! can't believe i pulled it off today, but somehow i did. nothing spectacular as far as big hucks and chucks but felt i skied clean and smooth. even one score card said.."clean and smooth"

can't believe i'll be competing wih the likes of greener, moles, berg, and who knows who else. not expecting being in finals or anything, but maybe a sickbird nomination could be cool.

good luck to all my fellow competitors and mags!

Good luck to everyone tomorrow! Silverfox is a SICK venue, nice steep take off's and landings, and soft to boot. Brap brap!

HUGE Congrats to all the mags who qualified. There was some top notch skiing going down.

Ya, I missed the cut by 0.8 pts :-p. Oh well, not bad for my first time, next year I'll just have to throw down a line of Bobbly Lee's caliber.

Thanks for grabbing the photo man, I'll have to steal the full sized shot from ya. I can't remember much from my line except I remember taking a nice deep breath while skiing into dead tree air and then not breathing until the bottom. Remember to breathe, it's pretty easy to forget.

Good luck to all the mags ridding today. I'm pretty sure that list is chalk full of A+ athletes. I'll see you out there!

Doesn't wearing all white make it hard for the judges to see what you are doing?

    Kevin killed it today.
After his run, a Praxis/PM Gear brotherhood of cooperation was established.

    Great Peeps! Great Event!

I will make it a point to get an online shout out to maggots everywhere tomorrow from the announcers.

I talked to the judges and I got dinged hard for speed checking, which in the meeting they said would be encouraged as a "control" tactic.

Yet again, girls who don't take airs, or jump over small 2ft rocks and ski pretty down the gut get through, because its safe and looks good.

I like skiing fast and going big, and it doesn't get rewarded the moment you screw up even a little... so lesson learned, ski easy pretty stuff that anyone and their mother could.
maybe it isn't about winning or scoring but just killing it in your own way in front of a lot of people...eh nads?
