GoNads landed the 3rd women's spot. Congrats and I hope you got to your truck before they busted your dog.

Z killed it. Super fast and smooth run.

Thanks, guys. Now I get to pay more money to ski! Hooray! I am stoked on today's results, and looking forward to Friday's main event. Another day of qualifying on Thursday - hopefully some more mags make it through.

My friend Mathieu qualified second! SOOOO stoked! He totally deserves it, especially after breaking one of his mismatched skis last week and getting it fixed just in time for the comp.

Good luck to everyone else in the qualis tomo. Good job GoNads!

Thanks, the field goal ones were just up around the corner and the others were when I was back with the crowd.
They were with a 2x teleconverter on a 70-200. The quality is not too bad for that setup.

Z absolutely slayed his line. Super smooth and fast. His entire run took 42 seconds.

I have a tendency to slow down before launching rocks. That's the only thing I can come up with for my score being so low (surprisingly and disappointingly low). I stuck all my airs solidly and had a direct fall-line run. Oh well.

I'm gonna grab a 2x. Seems like as long as the light is good the quality holds up. Nice work.

From watching your run, I agree. Probably lost points for slowness before airs. Might drop fluidity as well as aggression points. Bummed that you didn't move on.

Here are pics of the three airs I took courtesy of truth:

    The first air:

    The landing/skiing:

    2nd air:

    Landing/skiing:

    Ditching speed/heading for field goal:

    The final air:

Which was stuck clean and skied away. I must just ski like an ugly bastard.

The thing that's driving me nuts is I got a better score last year when I flaked out and missed my last air (the biggest one). I also finished a mere 1.8 points away from bushwackerinPA (who self admittedly backed out of ALL of his airs and hip checked while skiing).

What did you get for a line score? You ripped the shit out of your run, but I was thinking the line itself might not score well. There are still several mags running tomorrow. Your line might be good one to try and duplicate.

Was Crossman on alpine or tele? Looks locked down here, but kind of hard to tell.

I finally made it! Spectator of the day!

    Some decent runs today.
