TR: When it rains in pours..

Sooo, there's around 38cm of fresh, and its bluebird.

First thing I do while unloading my sled is break my fucking zipper on my one piece, which is promptly fixed with duct tape.

We break trail to here... which was a little difficult with all the sidehilling and climbs in all this fluffy goodness.

    FLUFFY GOODNESS ALL AROUND

And then... shit hits the fan. End results being...

    RUH ROH!

    Wooohooo rockered thugs!

    Apoxy can't fix this shit.

I didn't even know sleds flipped that way.

And now I'm on a mission to find skis to compete on for the aspen-snowmass comp. Hurrah.

That's the problem though, they wont clear customs in time. I already spoke to my rep in Canada, its not possible, it'll take like 3-5 days min.

I'm stuck trying to get a hold of someone down stateside, which so far has just been answering machines. I think I'll pull a surprise visit by their head office at Ogden tomorrow en route to Aspen... or else its competing on rentals or skier-cross skis, ruh roh.

Aren't you in the butte right now? Ogden is a ways out of the way(?)

Regardless, start a thread with something like Need CO ski help in the title. I'm sure one of the a$$pen crew can set you up with something for a day or three.

Failing that I can loan you 193 Big Daddies (have to have them back cause I love them). 195 FaGS (same). Or 194 flame bigs with 977s (you could keep those I don't use them).

They're amazing powder skis... but they aren't meant to be treated like that. I don't think any ski would put up with that abuse.

I was on my ass because I just front fliped her sled, smashed my face on the bars THROUGH my full face, and then the sled landed on me. I think I broke my neck again, x-rays will tell all...

edit- I am not a sled jong either, mine was airlocked this morning, and the one lap I take on hers, I found the hidden wind lip to steep slope that was perfect for an awesome endo style front flip...

I've never seen shit flip that way before. I just can't believe the sled landed back on the track too. GET YOUR ASS TO THE HOSPITAL.

Already seeing alot of offers for aid here, but here's one more. In SLC, I have a pair of 184 Mantras or 193 original Big Daddies you could borrow for the price of a fresh tune. PM me if they're needed.
