Got the call from DTM looking for beta on the East Ridge of Timp. Rather than spew a bunch of garble, we decided to just go with him and BumZ to ski it again.
Most asthetic line in Utah, in my opinion.
BumZ, on his new Dynafit/Lotus 120 rig. Oh no, a valued member of the HCAC on Dynafits? What has the world come to? Evolution happens slowly at Alta.
My brother has been in town for 24 hours. We skied short the day he flew in, now he's on Timp. Second tour of the year, fresh from sea level.
Suffering with blisters, on both feet, but determined.
BumZ, floating.
The easiest approach to the best line in Utah.
DTM and BumZ, inspired by the alpine.
Perhaps a little too inspired?
Bound and determined, despite blisters and a bit of altitude funk.
He's 6'6", I'm the runt of the family.

The hitch hike back would require a little luggage carry by myself and DTM.

But BumZ jumped ahead and stole the opportunity.......I'll let him tell his accounts of what transpired.
After BumZ ditched us, we made our way to Sundance to check out the line again.
We finally met up with BumZ in the Owl Bar for some beers and burgers. Why are you smiling BumZ?
