Arrow Alta Crew = bunch of slackers

    So, what's YOUR excuse?

Alta got 7" of new snow overnight. I arrived at Wildcat at 8:30 and got a spot for 4th chair. I waited until 9:10 before giving my spot away to a stranger. That's right, NOT ONE maggot showed up pre-opening.

phUnk did finally show up and we ripped around the rest of the morning. I won't provide a report because you slack asses don't deserve one. Needless to say, the lack of locals today provided plenty of fresh snow to ski.

Well, I skied Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun, and do occasionally have to work. (Boss came back from vacation today so it seemed like a good idea to put in an appearance...)

I don't really have one, woke up, thought it would be a nice day to go for a ride on my bike, which I did. Starting in february = phUnk has no chance this summer, not that he ever did.

poor excuse. probably. Glad you got some Z. I'll be out wed-sunday this week.

Altachic - you're excused - you need to rest the knee. I forgot to mention that.

I was there! (albeit a little later @ 9:30 'cause I had to drop someone off at work in the AM).

I'll be more generous with the info. Today was verrrry good. Keyhole was open too--really nice.

Baldy and Castle did NOT open today, so you slackers can get some tomorrow. (Also, Powder Paradise and Road to Provo weren't open at Snowbird either.) The downside is that the lower aspects were getting kinda warm by one-ish. Should still be really good tomorrow though.

    Enjoy.

Well, since I have a multi-pack for alta here's my excuse.

My banker flew in from MN so I can close a deal on Friday.

    Does that work?

    Might be there tomorrow though.

I worked till 9:30, was on the lift at 9:40. Face shots on the backside, thirds, and first person down Keyhole w/3 patrollers = sick morning and no regrets now that I'm back at work.

Definitely getting a little warm out there, hope Baldy and Castle hold up for tomorrow (or that it just keeps snowing)...

Yeah I was lazy once again this morning. Didn't get up there til 10ish, but it was still good all over. I did a bunch of laps trying different lines off of eagles nest that had tons of primo untouched goodness. Did keyhole for my last run of the day and it was DEEP back there. Good day all aroud, but didn't run into a single maggot.

Tomorrow I WILL be there early. I gotta break this habbit of sleeping in...plus there could be some good stuff opening up.

Not only did I go up, but I took the fucking bus from Sugarhouse like I always do. Left my house at 11:30 (Doctor's appointment) and got to the Bird at 1:30.

    That shit feels like Colorado.

Oh, and phUnk and Hellaphil: I'm working both y'all come biking season. On my 24" dirt jumper that weighs more than phUnks new macker.

Can we play with you guys on bikes too? I hear the riding around here is pretty good.

phUnk, it's funny you say Telephil is taking half the season off. We have a friend that thinks it almost bike season too (no offense T.P). There's a reason we are out of bike shape for the first Downhill race; the skiing is to good in March / April / May to get any real riding in.

7".....pffft (my bike has more travel than that)

Not really, that's why I love it so much. To hang with Krispy and the gang, you have to be in shape but I'm pretty fat, dumb and happy where I'm at.

Heh. Now I kind of feel bad about not sharing the mystical knowledge (that only I possess) of the Lincoln Loop.

    Sigh.

If you would have bothered to leave the confines of LCC during the mini, you would have seen it done.
