Nah, we're just being nice because his work involves big sharp knives and he's packing heat.

If I missed you, Please accept my apology. I just enjoyed a great bunch of memories of many of you that posted so far. I know there are still a few I know that have not stopped by this thread. I am loking forward to catching up with as many of you as possible. I will Pm all I know here with cell #. A bunch of you still have my email addy. I stil use that old one and check it at least a couple of times a week.

Big Daddy and many of the "newer" maggots, I'm glad you recognize how close this cool group of people became. You folks have a stumbled into a very special place and if you take care of it and use good judgment, every little bit can contribute to make it magical. You will reap unimaginable rewards if you trust a little and take care of each other.

Of course, you should also never miss an opportunity to mercilessly embarrass and harrass each other too. In a loving and humorous way.

I'm looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible in the snow.

Armchair Extreme? Yeah, I skied with him. He was alright, I guess. Had a penchant for losing ski poles and getting stuck in streams though.

Good to hear you're still alive and kicking. Congrats on getting out of the spiral and back into the vortex. As the second maggot I skied with, you sure made a good impression on behalf of this crew.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and its a freakin' BC summit reunion in here),

Hey Gincognito!! Great to see you still here! Thanks for the memories!

So. I was wondering if since I've been out of it a little I should go out and buy new gear. Anyone know anything about Neptune Mountaineering in Boulder CO???

I was sure you were dead. Welcome back mang. Been awhile, the last time you and I skied together I was still in high school. Graduated from USU this last summer in photo. Now I live down in O town a few blocks from Frozen, Tresko, and Flykdog.

Wow, this is cool. All the old guys I always envied and admired, all in one thread. Welcome back ACE - it is good to see you here.

Something that might give you a laugh if you didn't know already, HUGEAIRDAWG is my boyfriend - has been for about 3 1/2 years now.

I teach little kids to ski in the winter and grow flowers in the summer. Trying to keep half an eye on this place and I'm really glad I caught this thread.

    I hope you stick around.

    Hey!

I missed this the first time around (I guess I haven't been as active recently). I still have fond memories of that feast we had at your place in Long Beach.

It's amazing how much stuff has changed around here over the years. After that dinner, I spent a few more years doing engineering stuff, then I dropped out and spent two seasons skiing at Bear. I moved from LA to New Haven, CT about a year ago and started teaching high school math this fall.

Holy crap! Don't know how I missed this a few weeks ago...but way cool to see you back ACE. This is like the old boards all wrapped up into one thread And good to see you noticed I'm still around, wasting time on the interweb. This guy played a small part in my meteoric rise to ski industry mogul cough cough ahem! while helping me adjust to unpaid life as an intern in SoCal many years ago...

My wife's in residency in Ohio so if you ever find yourself a few hours west of Philly, drop me a line (Columbus). Living here but I still get back to the SLC once a month, so no complaints really. And we'll be back west full time in about 18 months.

    ACE,

Welcome back. I had some prolonged work-related absences, but they were minor by comparison. I've moved like five times since you left the board, but am currently in Hawaii. My brother, Yardsale of old, isn't in LA or Mammoth anymore, but will prolly get back there someday before too long. He's doing rehab in MN after a brutal knee injury.

Hope all is well. Looking forward to seeing you on a ski hill again in the future.

    Later dude,

Apparently I missed this one, too. You were one of the first people I skied with in Utah...good times at the Bird.

ACE is back! Been a while since you and Gincognito got me way above my comfort level at Red (BC Summit), after getting cliffed out earlier in the day.

Where are you working in Philly these days, any particular restaurant that we should be supporting?
