Then I hit all the little pockets I know of around the mountain. Skied untracked, 5-6 " till about noon. Then bailed.
Very nice. We didn't hit the slopes til 9:30 but found untracked until about 3:30pm.

The skibowl situation is making me anxious. The website said the upper chair was on 'standy' today. I guess that means standby.

I am thinking Meadows Tuesday and Thursday. Potentially fill in the blanks with nights at the bowl.

Assuming the upper bowl opens with these dumps, a question: How does the upper bowl hold up with a 26" base at Midway (40-45" up high???)? I've always hit the bowl with much more snowpack...Seems fairly rugged and could be a bit rough...

    Thanks in advance.

I skied the deepest, lightest fluffiest blower I've ever skied at Whistler today. Unbelievable...

Looks like Xtal has added another 9" to their base in the last 24. Keep it coming!

gun barrels was the deepest snow on the mtn. I was tempted for Khyber, but figured it would be too crusty down low. How was it?

I couldn't believe I happened upon an untracked barrel, and I laid waste to it the best I could! khyber was actually really good considering how shifty mil $ was saturday....another storm or two and it'll be money, but regardless, it was untracked and sweet.....god I love khyber

Magic Eight Ball says, "Outlook good". We opened the Silverlode chair today for the lower mountain, Motherlode and Paradise, as well as their grandfather, Red, should open by Friday, hopefully.

We are standing at 73cm in the alpine as of this writing, and more snow on the way tomorrow and this week. That's the bare minimum as far as coverage goes, but the base is bulletproof from the Pineapple Piss-On-Us event.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see another 30-40cm of additional by the time Christmas rolls around.
