    Where's the pow this year???

I'm in the East (NEPA) and last year sucked. We went to VT and got hammered though. About 3 weeks before our trip, Stowe got 4 feet... Us, nothing. On our trip though we got about 2 feet.
I've been to Kicking Horse about 3 years ago and saw they got hammeded last year, but Utah was dry. I've been there before on good years. I'm planning a trip this year for about 10 of us and wanted to know if anyone has a pretty good guess or a somewhat accurate forecast about where the snow's gunna be flyin this year.

    Our choices are between,
    Kicking Horse, Eastern BC
    Whistler, Western BC
    Utah
    Jackson Hoe

We're really not too interested in Cali, but are open for recomendations on going where the Powder will be. thanks, Aceman

Yeah, that's what a lot of people say, but everyone is on a somewhat tight budget. We want to at least have an idea where and how much, ya know.

There is no way to tell accurately. The best thing to do imo is do your research regarding who gets the most snow. (ie Utah, BC Canada, Baker, Fogee, etc) Look up their snowiest times and try to put yourself in a situation to get powder. If you are going for just a few days, go midweek and finsh your trip on the weekends. Stuff gets tracked out less during the week. Also, you can plan the dates of the trip and wait until the last min to pick where you go.

NOT UTAH...it NEVER snows here...didn't you notice the crappy totals last year...

I think global warming is set itself up right over UTAH..so stay away...

    Thank you for your cooperation..

400" sucks. my patrol buddies went out 3 times and said it wasn't any different from here. Some snow, but not the typical year. Oh, well. Utah sucks.
