That killer medley of Abba and Dead or Alive is so stuck in my head!

Ptavv and I agree, pink shirt is the best and most bear-like.

So now I can't decide: Hoodie with no shirt, pop-collar pink polo, or rashguard with trucker hat?

Snip the rashguard into a half shirt and you are set.

    Sorry,

Its too nice out right now for me to be @ a bar. I'm heading to tabor for a ride.

Maybe another time. Definitely on the hill. I plan on having lots of doctors appointments on monday and tuesday afternoons this winter.

Who's idea was it to do that on a week night?

My head hurts. That was a good time.

Thanks everyone for showing up last night. A good time was had.

Thanks to Ski_pdx, the mysterious and elusive ducky, platinum pete whose name fits his coiffage perfectly, The smear's (proving that yes, biosmear does have someone other than ptavv), The thunder from down-under mssr PtavV, Heather.

Next time lets figure out some way to ensure that all members don't have to drive so more alcohol can be consumed.

Also, our next locational meeting for portland drunkening is

    MAJIC GARDEN

    (note the druidic "j" spelling)

Note: did someone pick up my sunglasses?

    Now onto pressing matters:

    PTAVV!

How DARE you think that Salute your Shorts was better than Hey Dude!

Bastard! <--- Note the exclamation point.

My drive home was excruciating as I was relentlessly chewed a new asshole for suggesting, among these maggots, that the quality of driving of immigrant truck drivers nowadays is not as good as when Jim Bob the flannel-wearing country boy was behind the wheel. I can't even recall the context but apparently I really embarrassed myself with that one, and revealed my prejudice by ignorantly stereotyping immigrants. I apologize to anyone within earshot at Amnesia for insulting immigrant truck drivers.

Salute Your Shorts was 100x the show than Hey Dude ever was.

I was right about King Burrito, I'm right about this.

Judging by that, I'd have to go with Hey Dude then.

Smear -- the truck driving comments were tame, I think. But, you may have had a conversation after ours that was more inappropriate.

The last beer you bought me is still kicking me in the head.

So I guess we won't be skiing together this season then?

We will for sure be skiing together this year. I just need to remember that switching beers three times in one evening is a bad idea. You would think I would remember that.

Thanks for making it happen, especially cool as I was already going to be there!

Looking forward to the next meeting - I will start saving my crisp dollar bills. Hopefully we can go check out the place above Dante's... its especially naughty!

New topic: In 1 hour I'm going to see Spoon in a private concert/soundcheck at the Crystal Ballroom thanks to 94.7 fm.

I'm pretty much expecting them to invite me to jam, so I've loaded my pockets with all my favorite picks.

No, we got kicked out. It was a cool, they played 4 songs after their soundcheck. They are pretty tight, their sound rocks live. Unfortunately I ruined any chance of being invited on stage when I asked between songs that they use the VH1 Storytellers format. Then during the meet and greet I made a crack about their poster being a Bauhaus ripoff...and then how my girlfriend's hot friend tried to hookup with the lead singer but he snubbed her...nary a laugh. I'm pretty much a massive tool in the eyes of the band members.
