SSA Granted Tax-Exempt Status

Well, the moment we have all been waiting for has arrived. Today we received official notification from the Internal Revenue Service that we hav been granted tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. What's that mean? Well, it means that all contributions to SSA are deductible for tax purposes. It also means that we can receive tax-deductible gifts, bequests, devises and transfers. We're not sure what those are, but they sound good!

Thanks go out to all those who assisted in this process. For you action sports companies out there, be aware, the phone is going to start ringing and we expect that you will pick it up and do your share to support action sports athletes who have suffered spinal cord injuries by giving generously to Stand Strong Again. To all you individuals out there, keep giving as you have been generously doing and be sure to call your favorite action sports companies and urge them to support Stand Strong Again.
