found a pair of 1960's s40 clamps to mount on my 215 stratos. Now if I can just get to Alpental saturday. Prolly kill myself on the first run on those monsters. You ain't NEVER seen camber like those skis have. Must be 6 inches between the bases at the high point.

    Dug,
The 207 TNC's have no binders mounted.
About all I can offer is a steezy old pair of Look Sensor 99RS's in stunning white (they were my dad's - in good shape). I could mount them up for "a nominal fee" (i.e. sixer), you're free to rock them, just demount and send back after LBD.

Let me know if that would help your LBD cause.

What the hell is the snow going to be like Sat.? I understand they have 1 to 2 feet but its raining and snowing freezing and warming? We don't have this in Cal...

I guess it could be really good but I am thinking it may have many layers of crust..

teh BenWAz - i've got some extra boards- only problem is that they are in greenwater. if anyone is coming up from greenwater...or maybe a long beer run to pick them up?

edit: might have just found some 215's in seattle!

^^^^ BUMP for LBD STOKE ^^^^

Is there a particular rally point/ lot location for pre-func?
Or should I just look for a pride of gapers?

    When do festivities "begin"?

    How much bacon?

Since I can't make it tomorrow I was all set to do some pregame scouting for you guys by heading up today, but the bastards are closed! Oh well, I guess being close today means more fresh tracks for LBD tomorrow.

I'm planning on getting there by 9am to grab zee good parking spot near Shot 10 restrooms (not that it should be that crowded).

Perhaps a 12pm gathering at the Top of Chair 2 is in order for a monster session down Nash?

Either way- shouldn't be too hard to spot us since there are only 2 chairs and we'll be quite stylin'

SQ 99 has been talking of getting there early and securing a spot close to the lifts for tailgating. I’m bringing an 18 pack of PBR, but we’ll need more than that. I like the idea of a tips-to-tail bump run down ‘nash… fuck, yeah. Anyway, I’ll be the wild eyed freak on 210 Buzzards Thermos and tele bindings. BC Flow will be on K2 Super-Gs. SQ99 and BenWABalls will be the bump fags with picture perfect technique. Z-Bo will be the guy wearing a trash bag and slumped in a hung over heap at the bottom of Chair 2.

I couple points of order: It is Long Board Day, not Gaper Day. Long Boards are 210+ cm. You get extra points from the judges for vintage clothing, but not for dressing like a clown. However, dressing like an asshole may earn you the Peoples Championships, but that bar has been set very high (see Kirkwood 2006). And as an added bonus, if you ski Long Board Day on acid you’ll win a pair of vintage Kerma ski poles.
    Game on fuckers.

the grand marshall of our vintage parade never disapoints!

oh, and Greydon- just wait and see the vintage that I picked up. it's totally awesome and tubular, dude!

Edit- I will be scrapping it up on K2 TNC's or possibly an alternate pair of 215's if AlpenDude is so kind to lend them out for a few hours

I'm gonna be way more of a gaper than usual (and that means serious gaperism) on the long boards. Can I still show up?

I was gonna pick up some Gallo jug wine in tribute of Dr What? but Ballard market didn't have any. I *was* in love with that place because of their beer selection, but now I'm not sure I can go there anymore.

Mr. Clark, you gonna be there around 9 with Squirrel, and the marker equipped skis you're loaning me?

So I know they're too short to be properly longboardish, but if anyone needs skis and can't find anything I have a pair of 207's and 204's I can bring. They're both mounted for approx 315 sole length.
