    Sux dude.
I guess 215 Chicken-Hearts weren't the optimum choice for the conditions.

While the rodent and/or or geyden are working on the OFFICIAL Long Board TR, thought I'd show a few pics to get the crowd warmed up.

Found some usual and unusual suspects in the shot 10 parking lot.

(L to R: Mossback, Flow, and ZBO)

Greydon's pants have seen lots of action . . .

Then it was off to chair 2 for some Adrenaline madness . . .

BenWa doing his best Scott Schmit steeze

The flying Squirrel ups the ante . . .

What an awesome day all around with a great crew of maggots. Great to meet and ski with a few new faces. The mank was slayed NW style!!

Had a lot of fun skiing with you guys. I felt so out of place on my boards though, like the kid at school who dresses for the look but just can't get the cool.

Oh, and I forgot to wish a happy birthday to Z-Bo today. Drink on.

I'll save the rest of the pics for the official TR, but here's another teaser:

    THE RIDE HOME

I left casa de squirrel at a reasonable time to attempt to make it home by 11.

Seeing as how it only took me about 2.5 hrs to get to alpental I though that this would be a possible thing to accomplish. Right away I could tell that I was heavily tired and felt a bit like a rhino with a tranq dart stuck somewhere in his ass.

I was large enough to ignore it for awhie but it was coming.

So I started the drive, and made it through skiattle to tacoma before stopping to get some gas. I continued driving but noticed that I had to start adjusting my surroundings to prevent the small ticks of sleepness that started down my way. 1st was the heater to cold, then the radio to loud. Then 30 miles later it was a red bull and some sugary candy. Shortly after the darkness came in the hallucinations started.

I thought to myself that I saw nuns fly across the path of the road. then I thought... nuns? You are really fucked up right now... then I thought.... hmm..... Why am I thinking about nuns and lions?

So after that in depth conversation with myself I pulled over and slept at a rest stop for an hour. Dropped into the dead.

Finally made it home at 12:30 and promptly went into seizures from all the red bull I had on the way home.

Long board day was well worth it though.... now what is this I hear about alpental being open another weekend?

Shit, I can't believed I missed the Schmidt steeze in person. BenWa gripped it and ripped it. Did anyone get pics of the reverse pole plant action? That had me laughin' my ass off. So sorry the day (and the lift-served season) ended premature for you.

Dug, did Squirrel give you a ride back up to Alpy? Wish I could've helped more than I did.

Anyone hear more about the medivac case; how that guy is doing?

Big ups to Greydon Clark for the Volkl Welt Cup's and to Mrs. Clark for putting up with them in the house. My roommates: "another pair of skis?!"

Heh, I had to mix in some '80s noodler style with the Schmidt schmears to capture the true essence of LBD!

I'm starting to get impatient, I vote that the official Alpy LBD TR be posted NOW.

I spent a few hours last night uploading and resizing photos , unfortunately I have to work late tonight so for me it's looking like I can get something up by maybe Tuesday night.

    Good teasers, so far!

Odin, didn't realize you went to Squirrel's. I saw your post at 6 and thought "wow, he got home fast!" Glad you made it home.

Dug called me at like 7:00 asking me if I wanted to do him a huge favor. After I told him that I had already driven 300 miles that day and that the favor was too huge for me, he moved down through his phonebook until he found someone for whom it was not too huge

No one really knows, but I think it involved one too many swigs of fireball, a spicy sausage and some long board day hubris.

Ok, real story: Dug drives to Alpental, Dug takes keys out of ignition, Dug puts keys in backpack, Dug puts backpack in BenWa's truck, BenWa gets hurt, BenWa takes off in his truck with Dug's backpack, Dug has a car at Alpental with no keys to open it or drive and no nunchuck skills to break in or hotwiring skills to start it up and drive home.

Oh yeah, and one of you guys went home with my screw-cap riesling and a bottle of Negra Modello. Enjoy. It was the least I could do. My fault for leaving it in the back of your truck. Didn't know you were leaving early!

And hence the moral: don't be a Dug.

Sorry to have missed LBD on the home turf, but I really couldn't pass on the 35cm new at Blackcomb.

Word has it that Greydon and Z-bo will be sporting the sweater look full time next season.
Move upside and let the man go through...
