    The ski-off is a challenge --> Zoolander
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

Skiing is skiing, the point of it is to go DOWN, the way you accomplish that goal has nothing to do with how much fun you have while doing it.

The people who over analyze just suck the soul out of skiing. Its supposed to be fun.
agree 100%. i actually skimmed thru the thread (yes, i'm a little bored tonight). about halfway thru i thought about democrats and republicans arguing just to argue. which is why i don't follow politics either.

    ski hard.
    stay on your skis.
    have a blast.

i think that covers it for me.
those real skier guys are a boring and ski-unfulfilled bunch, i say.

think those blowhards ever party when skiing?

    or ever?

apparently PMTS is competing with PSIA
OMG! I'm getting a hudge fucking headache from trying to read that first post. What the fuck does he think he's dissecting there.

wow....i had no idea this argument existed. i didnt even know that these people or forums existed. I really didn't know that people took it all so seriously. I feel nothing but pity for all involved, they are missing out on the best aspect of the sport which is simply the FUN part. Damn thats depressing.

hehe i like the idea that scott schmidt can't ski
i just imagine him ripping a 50° face and then totally beatering down the hypothetical groomer below it

It actually sounds more like a religous argument than a political one.

/\ /\ Should be Fat ramp and slob. Really what the fuck is that?
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Weems was/is awesome. Like I said, stuff he taught me 30 years ago, is still relevant. (For such a "shitty skier" he managed to become director of Aspen ski school. I don't know what that guy who has time to micro-analyze every movement is talking about!)

What LA said. It's all about the fun and these guys are like vampires sucking the life out!
