[QUOTE=freshie247][QUOTE=Evil E]Larry is the best bootfitter I've ever known and is an all around saint. QUOTE

This is some funny Sh*T! I just called him & read several of the posts to him,he loved Icemans post.I've known Larry for a lot of years & lived in the same house with him;I can assure you,he's no saint! [QUOTE]

So, if you are friends with him, maybe you can answer this. Why isnt Larry a mag? I mean he has always like being involved with the scene and following what is going on in the industry. I had actually always wondered if he was a CO Mag and I just didnt know it....but if you are reading him threads???

Larry's ,......lets just say he's never been a joiner. He does his own thing, regardless of whether it works or not (see the "politics of Saturday night " section of Air America).I admire his stalwartly attitude, tenacity & fortitude. To quote Dr.Thompson,

" He's a real heavy weight, water buffalo type. The kind of person that could chew his way through a concrete wall, come out of the other side, covered in lime dust,& look good doing it!"

Here's some of my insight into the man.Years ago he could never find matching socks to wear,so he made it his trademark to always wear mis-matched socks.

One more bump for larry...but I feel pretty bad too about how busy the guy is. Not to mention you never know who you'll bump into in his shop...always interesting. He drinks PBR and rarely does have time to eat. Remember that if you go in.

Nah, I think I'm just gonna curl up at home and watch a movie.

...Yeah, I'll be out. Current plan for friday is ski-->get retarded at larry's-->bars-->passed out naked in an alley somewhere. It should be fun.

    You going skiing on friday?

EDIT: no thread drifts like a gosey thread.

Funny shit. And Boulder in a nutshell.

That said, I do heart Larry. He's the first fitter to really get my uber-low-volume feet with blades for heels (and ice water for blood). I now ski in comfort and relative warmth, thanks to Larry.
