The search is on - who is Captain Maggot?
So the realization today that there is a "Snow Conditions and Weather" forum got me thinking that there is indeed life outside of Gear Swap, Ski/Snowboard and Sprockets (in the summer). But who posts in those other locations?
disclaimer: Before you all get your panties further wadded (yes, the assumption is being made that of late most have their panties wadded) this is not a thread suggesting more or less forum topics.
Who is Captain Maggot?
So, if you've posted in every forum, step forward, you are a candidate.
If you've started a thread in every forum, you are a serious contender. Considering the forum topics, Captain Maggot would have these qualities (and more of course):
- well versed in topics from all realms and able to display both wit, humor, and be able to give a JONG a solid beat down, not to mention the occasional TR (ski/snowboard)
- resort skier as well as a backcountry afficianado (slide zone)
- gear whore who unloads it and buys it (gear swap)
- mountains are not only for sliding on snow (Sprocket Rockets)
- water is just another form of snow in which to play (Surf and Kayak)
- traveling to ski is old hat and parties with other maggots is a norm (Summits)
- despite his/her abilities, injury has not escaped Captain Maggot (Gimp Central)
- need gear advice? Got spec questions? No worries for this maggot (Tech Talk)
- asking and responding to the trivial and complex - check (Ask TGR)
- the occasional pr0n and randomness is like old hat (Padded Room)
- Captain Maggot could *almost* hang with Red Baron (Snow Conditions and Weather)
- The occasional ride share is good for the planet and Captain Maggot - (Hook up)
- Well educated? A life outside the boards? Yep (Music, Books, Movies)
- Not only part of the history but making it (Archives and Hall of Fame)
Who is it? IS there anyone who can step up and claim legend status? (besides Roo of course)
