I can ski (probably not well enough to keep up) but I prefer not to give my $ to MRG with their assholish attitude toward people who prefer to go down the hill sideways.

the thing about MRG (as opposed to a place like deer valley) is that, like the packers, it's owned by the community.. and nobody is allowed to have too many shares.

Is there a date for this yet? or are we just waiting till there's more than one resort with top-to-bottom skiing in the east?

    I second that motion.
    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

It's about 1/2 hour from K and I guess commutable to MRG and Sugarbush (add another 1/2 hr to that methinks).

    Sprite
In true Maggot spirit- that gets MY vote ! Prob the best ASC hill to put this together. Have inflatible mattress, will travel.

Gunstock is STILL legit in my book.Hit stop and shop and "stock" up on perogies for dinner and everybuddy rides for free. Good option for those non ASC pass peeps.
I almost missed this thread btw, thanks TEX.
Looking forward to meeting all y'all. Good people here, fo' sho !

Don't even get me started on Brasil, I've been down there for 3 weeks in Feb before and it just keeps snowing back home. ...and that really hurts !

For the record, the only reason they were banned in the first place was 1. they kept throwing the single off the rails and 2. Before it was a co-op, a bunch of snowboarders kept hassling the owner for closing the single (due to 1) to snowboarders, so they were banned altogether.

As a longtime Jay passholder... Jay is the $ when it snows, but teh suXXor when conditions are not-so-good. I can't actually go skiing until March, but hey, just my $0.02.

Sugarbush seems to be doing well this season...

I know you're a huge fan of Flatton

Should Stowe be on the list?

    I'd vote for Madbush.

Now that I think about it, what about Wildcat / Cannon?

Sumggs, Gulf of Slides, Jay, Jay, and not Killington or Okemo. Or any where that you can get huge cans of beer in the cafeteria (Jay) .
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.
