Whitewater, Red Mountain, BC Feb 13 -17

I'll be in Nelson/Rossland Feb 13-17. I'll be skiing with my girlfriend for a few days but will have one or two days to myself and would really love to be shown around some stashes in either area.

I'm equipped with avy gear and avy knowledge.

    If you're game, apply here.

    thanks

How are you getting there? I'm going to be driving from Vancouver to Kootenay Pas (Via Nelson) around that time if you need a ride.

PM me closer to the time - I'm not sure if I'll be here then, but might be happy to hook up if I am.

British Columbia Backcountry Ski Trip - Join Us!

Hey, if either of you want to expand your trip by a few days, a group of us are doing a BC BC trip with Valhalla Mountain Touring at that time (2/11-2/18) and we have a couple spots still open. I just posted on this forum (TGR - hook up) under the above title.

Also, would you recommend Red Mountain or Whitewater for a short day of skiing?

Red has more "in bounds" terrain, but generally not as good snow as WH20.
