Now that is going big. I always pictured you as being older. Head on out to Mammoth and break those puppies in, core shots are free.

179 softs. they haven't touch the snow yet. they shake like a noodle ski, but flex stiffer, minimal camber. hot to trot w/ these boards but need more snow. how about all you mags out there howl at the next full moon at midnight------resonance convergece. hell, i try anything for more snow.

My bros and I lost our Sierra meadow skipping virginity this weekend...

Penny being bummed about the lack of pow in the Sierra

    Mmm breakable crust

Big smiles for crusty snow and good company

In all I am super stoked on the sticks. Following Shera's lead, in December I went up to Reno, helped out, and watched them be made. It is such a cool process to see. The dudes at PMGear are working their butts off. Thanks for teaching me about making skis!

This weekend was my first skiing CA. B/c of the killer snow conditions in ID over Christmas - really, I've been waiting years for that to be true and this year was above and beyond - I didn't have a chance to get the skis more dialed in (my special form of gaping) on hardpack "firm" snow until Sat. at Kirkwood. I seriously lurve them in a big slobbery way. They rock. Being an out of shape touring jong, yesterday I thought I would be hurting on the mellow uphill. The skis are SO lightweight. My only comparison is skinning on my 180 Tankers and these are SOO much easier! Also had a couple deeper and variable days in ID and they were fantastic there too. Hmm, I'm a bit backward in this TR - raving about the hardpack days?

Sorry to go TR in your thread mock1. Be stoked. You're going to love them!

Congrats to you, but my ski life sucks. Had set aside $$ for a new pair of bros, then a ton of extra expenses came down the pipe for the flyfish family. So here I sit, with a paid for trip to MT and the best I can come up with for a big mountain ski is my Rossi GS skis. This sucks, but good for you for gettin some. Maybe next year if things go well. I can only hope the snow sucks while I'm out there and the GS skis make me look like a genius for bringing midwest ICE skis.

Cute little one as well. My daughter heard me explaing "change for a nickle" to my wife the other day and today we snuck out for MLK and she was asking everyone in the lift line if they had Change for a Nickle.

    Good Luck,
    Jay

Hell yeah, I'm going out a day early to fish Rock Creek in Red Lodge before everyone else get's there. Oh and the MN season opened Jan 1st now if it wasn't 10 below and I could keep the guides on the rodfrom freezing I'd really have something. Next week is looking promising.

    Good Luck,
    Jay

    The man speaks truth.

Mounting mine tomorrow (marshal = the mang). Lotuses arrive late this week or early next week (full apartment quiver pic to come thereafter). Looks like the knee could be good to go for next week. STOKE ABOUNDS.
